“Wasn’t the cleanest room I’ve ever walked into, However when I asked for maid service the next morning I got it. The maid ( Elizabeth) came and spent some time cleaning the room as it should have been. That was awesome and made the rest of my stay here a lot more comfortable. Didn’t see any roaches or bedbugs so that’s a big plus for a cheap motel.”

“Went to celebrate a milestone family birthday. The staff is family and were great. They paid attention to all my requests including birthday balloons. Towel exchange worked well and the patio area in front of the room let us enjoy the weather even more. Pool was fun and very clean. Great and easy access to a beautiful beach. Met some great familiies and thats what this whole place is... a family and old school vibe. Hard to find these days. Thanks again guys for making a trip so special to my family!”

“This place is amazing, private parking, private EV charging (Tesla 220 volt!!!), and full service from an amazing host. We couldn’t have asked for any better! We stayed here at Penthouse One, while moving home and booked direct rather than paying extra to go through AirBnB or VRBO. We ended up staying for 4 months and this location was the perfect ‘home-between-home’! Natalia is the housekeeper and such a lovely lady! Kevin will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as possible.”

“Please understand that my review is based on this being a cute hostel type bed and breakfast (not a Hilton or Ritz Carlton) and the only reasons I couldn't give 5 stars is because there was no soap in my room and the shower never got hot, just warm. We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom, the shower was huge and it appeared the bedroom and bathroom had recently been remodeled. The bed was too soft to our liking, but it wasn't a rock so that made me happy! The place overall is quaint and eccentric. They have a shared kitchen area and supply everything you need to cook your own breakfast. I enjoyed exploring it and had the weather been cooler I would have hung out in the hot tub or any of the outdoor areas (there are quite a few). I will definitely stay again when the weather cools down.”

“Very nice owner :) What a blessing to find starlite in between residence (trying to buy a house!). So, this is helped tremendously in a time that could be more stressful. Thankful it is so clean! No smoking or pets. Cleaner than I had seen any hotel ever that I had stayed at. I was pleasantly surprised at just how clean, as well as how comfortable the beds. Free WiFi, cable tv, with roomy mini fridge, microwave made my stay easier. It is near railroad tracks, trains frequent, but after 1st night ear plugs did the trick. I would definitely recommend starlite & stay again if the need arises.”

“What a beautiful hike up Vivian Creek Trail. It was challenging due to how steep it was, not really technical though. The trees are huge and wonderful and the creek adds a serene touch bumping up the visual feels. A must check out hike. The camp sites seemed nice as well with clean bathrooms on site.”
