“This was okay. We purchased a camp ground and it was in the middle of a bunch of campers. It didn't really feel that safe. But it was fun with some friends. The camp ground was small but it had the right amount of space. We had a fun camping experience. The bathrooms were okay, we stayed for a day so we didn't take a shower. But the showers seems really gross and could use some renovation. The girls bathroom was okay. It was kinda clean. It didn't stink as I expected but smelled pretty clean. But it could use a painting job. Our campsite came with a fire pit. They had wood in it when we came but it was just because of the previous camper. But was appreciated! 😌 They had a small park for kids which was perfect! Our campsite came with a table so that was nice as well! Its okay! Recommended for a quick short trip! 😊”

“Had so much fun!! Met so many campers and every one of them was pleasant and friendly. The staff was all wonderful and very helpful. So many scheduled fun things to do you could partake in or just do your own thing floating in a pool or roasting a marshmallow over your campfire. Highly recommend for an Extended Stay or if you're just passing through!”

“We were long term residents, and we really enjoyed our time at Mockingbird Hill. The staff are all so nice and they have great communication. They are great about giving notices that may effect the residents in any way. We have two small children and a dog and they were always very accommodating and understanding. At one point during our stay, we had a difficult neighbor who made noise complaints on us, and they allowed us to move to another part of the park on pretty short notice. They were all so sweet and we will miss them! This is a clean and we kept park in a super convenient location, definitely worth a visit!”

“My friend and I and our sons had a great time staying at the Country Woods Inn! The South wing of the Prairie House was perfect for the 4 of us and our boys loved how close we were to the river where they could swim and slide down into the water. We enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit and had smores one night. The hammock was a great addition for the boys and they spent lots of time there. The petting zoo area was fun with all the bunnies and Wendy cooked a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning! We were about 5 minutes from everything we wanted to do! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place for the kids, but also close to town and swimming. Wendy even found our stuffed animal we left behind right after we left and immediately let us know, so we could go back and get it. Top notch service!”

The current property manager is the best around and has a high level of integrity and a caring personality that fits the housing field perfectly! “Amazing winery / bed & breakfast in the Valle. Been to a few wineries in the Valle now, and this is definitely the place to stay for an overnight. The rooms / villas are designed beautifully and very comfortable. Had a delicious 5 course meal and awesome wines at the restaurant on site. The owners of Xaroma, Lidia & Francisco, are incredibly nice & hospitable people. Will certainly be back and recommend this place to all others coming to the Valle”

But my teens were frustrated because they have to be 18 to use game room, pool, paddle boats etc and having a young baby too I couldn't do all the things they wanted. The camp ground was very strict about the rules. My husband did like the fishing and kids love the jump pillow.”

“This is by far the best place to stay on the island! The owners are the nicest folks and great cooks! You won't find a cleaner place anywhere in Northwest Ohio! They have golf carts for rent and free bicycles so getting around is never a problem. The gardens are spectacular and the location is great for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend.”

“The Quality Inn was a little older building. However it was clean and didn't have an oder. The layout was somewhat confusing but once you find your room everything will make since. The room was comfortable and the TV was nice. The water in the bathroom was a little odd. When you turn on the shower the water does not come out immediately. The breakfast served was very good and choices were plentiful. The food was fresh and tasted good. My stay was nice and I would stay here again.”

Bedding, linens, towels were all newer. Room décor and fixtures were older but very clean and worked well. Staff were very nice to deal with. Quiet location, great night's sleep.”
