“I have no idea how anyone could give this place a bad rating. My wife and I went camping here for two nights over the weekend and had a wonderful time. This campground is GORGEOUS. Nearly every site has a view of the lake. We went in early November and the autumn colors were magical. We had a tent site. Each site has a fire ring and aluminum picnic table. And a tall pole... not sure what that's for but we put a lantern on ours for light. Check in was easy and there's a gate at the entrance, which I liked. We felt safe the entire time. There were other campers, but a lot of empty sites too, which is expected this time of year. It was nice and quiet most of the time. We did have an issue with some obnoxiously loud people at 1am but honestly, I've gone camping all my life and there's ALWAYS one group of obnoxious people at 1 am anywhere you go. I think someone called security, because we heard yelling and then it was quiet right after. Bathrooms and showers were clean, and smelt like bleach. Everything was in working order. Yes facilities look old but you are camping. This ain't the Ritz. If you want brand new gold toilets, stay at a hotel. All in all one of the most lovely campground I've been at. And I've been at a lot. Here's some pictures to show you how pretty this place is!”

“Super quiet campground located at Keystone state park. The only negative is that the water is not drinkable. The sediments stained our ceramic toilet and shower brown. We couldn't even give the water to our dogs, else they'd get sick. We had to get the five gallon jugs from Walmart for all of us to drink. We could use the "tap" water for showers and dishes and laundry but even then, we didn't like it. The monthly rate wasn't too bad at all considering the water problem. Electric, sewer and water were all inclusive. The park owners were very kind. And the park kitties were super cute! Lots of beautiful wildlife around, too: groundhogs, pheasants, deer, raccoons and bears! Close to Latrobe (about 15 minutes).”

“We were passing through 1 day before Fat Tuesday. We sent a email that morning to see about any openings. They replied right away. They got us in same day. Only down fall was they Doubled the price for our stay because of mardi Gras. So it cost us 170.00 dollars for a two night stay! Campsites are very crowded but perfect to just sleep if you are there to check out the surrounding area. The office staff was amazing and very accommodating. Beautiful lakes for fishing.”

“My first time in the resort first night ok but the morning was a bit off when I realized the room had no microwave no refrigerator no free breakfast. Booking with a third party was not I expected but the resort was very helpful and resolved the problems. I was moved to a suite with all the convenient I need. My first time and they were awesome in solving the problem. I would surely book a better way and surely would stay again in a suit that for sure. THANKS YOU SO MUCH.❤️👍😊”

“The location is excellent, you walk about a block to the beach. It has a nice heated pool. The place is small so if you're a family of 4 or 5 this would not work for you but 1 or 2 people it works out well. There is no storage So you live out of your suitcase and if you were here for 2 weeks like us you end up having piles of stuff sitting around. But I love it anyways, things that we did not have and I called AMI VACATIONS they got the items right away for us in a timely manner. I do love that it has an alarm on back door if you have kids And they want to sneak out to the pool. We would definitely come back. It's a cute little cottage/cabin.”

“I loved this hidden little place. They had mini refrigerators with freezers the rooms were cute large and newly remodeled the staff was extremely friendly they had a working ice machine which is needed in arizona. They had a mini breakfast and all day oatmeal packets coffee tea etc. The location surrounding the motel was mostly shut down buildings so finding this inexpensive gem was great. They charge by person not bed and 15 for our pet stay so it totaled 80 bucks for 2 people 2 bed and a dog. Thanks for the great stay loved this place”

“Just what I needed to unwind and relax. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and inviting. I loved the decor and the heated toilet seat, bidet and jacuzzi tub in my suite! You can’t beat the lakeside views. The delicious complimentary breakfast made mornings easier and room service meals were tasty. I loved the meditation room for my mind and the gym for my body. Quiet Mind is a great getaway destination.”

“Very pleasant with our stay. Had an issue with our bathroom and they offered to changed our rooms without hesitation. Staff is so friendly and a nice quiet hotel to stay at. They offer free parking unlike other hotels and they also have a free shuttle for universal studio or other places. Great place to stay if visiting Universal/ Hollywood. Check in is at 4pm so if you arrive in the morning you can enjoy the city before checking in. Will definitely stay here again, only issue is the room with two beds are full size beds so if you’re on the thicker side two of you won’t fit in one bed unless sleeping on your side but it may be a little uncomfortable.”

“Our room was clean & the bed was very comfortable & they have the best pillows I've ever slept on. The rooms decor appears to be from the 70s which was cute but the fridge was not working and the bathroom could use an update along with the carpeting. it was just 1 overnight stay so the small issues were not a big deal. nice breakfast with cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, waffle maker, coffee, grits, cream cheese, peanut butter, apple juice, orange, yogurt, no eggs though...over all I would stay there again!”

“Stayed here 4th of July weekend, and it was great! Texas State Aquarium and the Lexington was down the street. Backyard is huge acts as extra parking and kids ran around while we barbecued and watching the fireworks from the beach was perfect and just a short walk away! Owners are the sweetest ppl. “I had to stay here for a few months for work and a few months in a different hotel for work as well. This was by far the most comfortable of the two. They have guest entrances in the back, so once you're checked in, you don't have to make the awkward walk through the front desk, and they keep your room very clean. The front desk is very nice if you do ever need anything.”
