“This RV park and county park was really a gem. The price was terrific (around $33/night) and the facilities were clean and well-kept. The bathroom looks to be new inside. The sites are arranged in pods with the outer sites having the more ideal spots. There is construction on about 5 of the pods but it is separated from the rest of the pods and does not really interfere. There are ample places to ride bikes and walk or jog. Dogs are only allowed in the campground, not the rest of the park. The swimming pool was only open Wednesday-Sunday when we were there in March.”

“Campground was clean and the area I was in was quite; I really couldn't tell you about the rest of the place as it is rather spread out. The bath house was far away from my campsite, but I was using my own facilities; so I didn't care about it. They don't have sewer hookups, but since I was only there three nights so the dump station was fine. The place has a lot of seasonals. I met some of them and were nice. There was a "corn hole" tournament going on while I was there. It brought out a big crowd. I was told it's a regular occurrence. Seemed like a friendly crowd; the people I talked to were all nice. I would definitely come back here.”

“This is our third year of enjoying Fox Hill RV resort & Campground. Love it here, our deluxe cabin was perfectly comfortable for 3 adults and 3 children. The cabin was very clean along with the campground, so much for the kids to do ! They especially loved the swim pond and park . My youngest grandson cried when we had to go home. Everyone that works there are so friendly and welcoming. Our trip to this wonderful campground is always a great time !!!”

“Jim and Ingrid treat you like family. I have stayed here 3 times. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the rooms are clean and well kept. Extra blankets if it gets cool. A/C when it isn’t. Nice showers with bathtub too. Near town food trucks and other great spots within walking distance. I will be back. Thanks for the shuttles from the Appalachian Trail. It is located 200 feet past Dunkin Donuts on the right across from the ice cream place.”

Also, there are USB plugs on the nightstand in case you forgot a wall adapter. The staff is extremely helpful and extremely accommodating. I wish I got the lady's name at the front desk. “I have been staying in San Marcos for 4 months now and have been staying at this hotel the entire time. I have truly felt like family staying here. Breakfast is great and if anything is ever empty, the desk clerk or owners stop what they are doing immediately to go and refill. The rooms I have stayed in have been very comfortable and if there has ever been any issue with the room, the staff is quick to respond. “Dude! If I could give this place more stars I would! We spent two weeks chilling at this place on top of the mountain. Towards the weekend we had neighbors but most of the week it was us and the animals. It's a bare bones campground so be prepared to do without luxury! The camp host is awesome and the lady knows her business and her mountain! If I could, I'd never come off the place!”
