“Avalon Mobile home estates Park is not half bad. I think it's in a pretty good location 😉 there's a school around the corner and a small supermarket called sail. About a 15-minute walk to the closest bus stop. This is no joke... It's about a 15-20 minute walk from three separate types of churches. An Adventist, Catholic, and I think a Lutheran maybe Baptist Church. The Mobile home estates Park itself seems to be well maintained.”

“This is a reasonably priced motel in the Eatontown and Long Branch area... The last time I stayed there was in 2015, about 6 years ago... I stayed for a few weeks until I found a private room for rent in Long Branch... The daily rate was approximately $60/night and the weekly rate was less than $400/week... All the employees from the manager to housekeeping and maintenance were very polite... I didn't notice any roaches or bedbugs and I had a comfortable stay there... There's a laundromat nearby and several restaurants that offer delivery...”

“Very good campground, it has everything you need: lots of room for RVs and the forested area is perfect for tents. The restrooms are always clean, they have a BBQ area for groups, and also a game room with video games, pool table and many board games. We had a car accident on the way there and the owners helped us tremendously by giving us free firewood and charging us only for 1 night instead of 3. Friendliest owners of a campground I have ever seen!”

“Pretty nice, clean room. Very humid. Had to turn the AC down to 66 degrees to lower the humidity. Very comfortable bed, although it was quite hot, due to memory foam. The bathroom light is very dim. All the light bulbs in the lamps are the old spiral type compact florescent bulbs, which are not that bright and also have that sickening pale color temperature. I might expect that in a bottom rung hotel, but not at Comfort Suites. The eggs and sausage at breakfast were surprisingly good.”

“My partner and I had the most relaxing and fun stay! The rooms are great and the bed is so comfortable and the tiny kitchen was too cute for words. I loved that we could check ourselves in and enjoyed the private little patio and loved that there were bikes and surfboards to rent. The staff also hooked us up with free coffee and donuts in the mornings. The neighborhood is amazing. SO much to see/do within walking distance, live music, the beach, great food and coffee and new eats like a vegan Jewish deli! Felt very California state of mind and just a perfect weekend getaway kinda place. Loved it and hope to return!”

“We had an excellent stay. Our family of four came into town for a wedding. We had a two year old and a 14 year old in tow. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They checked us is early, had a wonderful continental breakfast selection and we're very patient with us and our busy toddler. The staff was fantastic, the room was clean, cozy and well equiped. We would highly recommend this hotel for families.”

“This is a primitive backpacking campsite, and can be used only with a permit from Five Rivers Metroparks (it was only $10, and is less on weekdays and in the off-season). There are 3 campsites with room for 1-2 small tents each, a common area for cooking/eating, and a latrine. Each campsite has a pole with hooks to hang your food bag/backpack/lantern. No fires allowed here, so bring a camp stove. There is no water, so you'll have to pack it in, or go get it from the river and purify it. I had to walk about half a mile to get close enough to the river to get cooking water without having to bushwhack or climb down an embankment. It was very clean and well maintained, and I had the place to myself. Plenty of room between campsites if you did have company. The bugs weren't bad at all, and if there were any racoons or other critters around, they left me alone. The only downside was the noise in the evening. SR 725 is about 0.4 mile away, and Creek Rd. is 0.1 miles away - apparently everyone in Ohio with a motorcycle decided to drive down them last night. I could also hear gunshots from across the river somewhere just before sunset.”

“I come to played cards almost everyday. I loved playing blackjack here. No collection and no busted. The dealers are nice and players were great. I also played paigow tiles. The area is spacious and big TV to watch sports. The reason I gave 4 stars because there was a casino host name Jessica. All she does is shoeshine players and argue with players. There is no needs of her on floor. We had floor persons already. I am going stopping coming here due to her. Toxic environment at tile section because of her.”

“My wife and I spent a weekend at the Chalet and loved everything about our stay. The property is huge and felt secluded, private, and quiet. The house itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you need for a getaway. The coffee options and bar cart were used frequently during our stay. The Sonos speaker system and wifi synced perfectly with our phones/laptops. This was a great home base to both "work from home" and also enjoy a quick trip to the beach. Between the deck, fire pit and game garage, we imagine this would be a fantastic place to entertain with family and friends - we look forward to returning soon! Hot tip: Stock up on groceries on your way to check-in, since there aren't too many food options around town - which is exactly the point, isn't it? You won't want to leave once you're settled in!”
