“I'm originally from Charleston South Carolina and got an itch to go camping while out here for work. One of my students of whom I was teaching recommended Sequoia National Forest as a place to start. I've always wanted to see redwoods and since I'm here for 3 weeks and have nothing left to do on the weekends, I decided to make this place my choice. I hopped on the app and kind of searched around and found a few places I like but frog Meadows kind of stood out. It took approximately four and a half hours from Oxnard to get there. Once I arrived in some small town I began my truck upside the mountain. The roads were definitely windy and excessive speed is not recommended as there are many blind turns. Once you get up to the point where you're entering the campgrounds there is about, I think around an hour and a half worth on dirt roads.The dirt road is very narrow and decides to go down to a steep degrade. But that view tho was incredible. I arrived in a car, so the road wasn't that bad.”

“We have been staying here while waiting on our new apartment. Day one The front office representative allowed us to check in early, they accommodated us with a nice comfortable room. Any time we had any concerns, the customer service was impeccable. The location is great as well surrounded by other hotels and many restaurants! I would highly recommend staying here if your looking for nice and comfortable on a budget! Shout out to Ace, who has been the best help and so attentive to all of our needs!”

“I’ve been in the complex it’s very beautiful on the quieter side we actually were parked at norms restaurant which is where we went into the wall that divides the property put my location as Southbay Estates actuality we were 20 feet from Norms front door but I have been in there it is pleasant and peaceful and nice.”

“Christine was an amazing host. The wine and cheese welcome was much appreciated. Breakfast was perfect. Loved staying in the home of Oscar Hammerstein. I’ve been a fan of his music and musicals for decades. I could not believe that I was actually sitting on the porch where he wrote the lyrics to “Oklahoma”. We stayed in the South Pacific Room which was Oscar’s master suite. I could go on and on but it’s best if you experience Highland Farm for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.”

The room custodial crew was exceptional, the beds are firm which is perfect for me and the view overlooking the town is fabulous. My only constructive criticism would be the breakfast which was not what it was built up to be.”

The doctor immediately came and spoke with me and made me feel better I recommend this hospital. When you enter it you feel at peace. Also the guest home we stayed at I felt it was their was something special about it. I can't complain about my surgery or stay their, I was blessed and I'm very greatful to everyone.”

“What a little gem of a place! Stayed 5 nights the last week of November. Place is spotless, bed is comfortable, feels very private and cozy. Some traffic noise but can't hear any noise at all from other guests. Coffee in the office is very good. Good location close to highway. We liked it so much after the first 2 nights that we extended our stay for another 3 nights. Would 100% stay again.”

The room could use some renovations, but in this economy Its pretty understandable that this progress is going to take some time. Personally, if your looking into staying here. I would say that taking it upon yourself to find out is a great idea! They will not disappoint! “Good first experience with these guys. They installed a backsplash in our kitchen. Mike came by and gave me a quote less than 24 hours after I called to schedule. Super cool dude. I already knew what tile I wanted, but Mike told me exactly how much to order and sent me links to the other small items (grout, trim for the edge). You buy the supplies and they just charge you for the labor. They also picked up the tile from the warehouse so I didn't have to pay shipping. Wasn't the cheapest quote I had gotten, but I chose them because I liked Mike's professionalism (You get what you pay for). Glad I did too. They worked with my schedule and worked the weekend. Got it done 2 days. After the crew left, Mike called me to make sure I was happy. There were a couple of minor blemishes in some of the grout and I was amazed how quick Mike talked to his guys. He assured me he was not charging me for the second half of payment until it was perfect. Sure enough, he sent one of detail guys the next day and made it flawless. I will be using these guys again. Good people.”

Location is very good - across street from St. Augustine pier, park and beach. 5 minute walk to beach at the end of Anastasia State Park. They still do not serve breakfast but several nice places close by. The price is very reasonable.”

“Very rustic feel in the room. Nicely decorated. I'm disabled, and the bed was too high for me. But Blessing took care to give me equipment that eased my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room even had a scent diffuser to make it smell fresh. Little touches in this charming hotel made all the difference. I highly recommend this motel.”

“My kids and I and a very good friend stayed at Sea Turtle Bungalows while on vacation and absolutely loved it. The location on John’s Pass is perfectly tucked away but within walking distance of everything. We loved fishing from the dock and taking the kayaks out to watch the sun rise and set. The barn has everything you need for time at the beach and the wagon to pull everything in came in clutch. The bungalow itself was clean and updated and the kitchen had all the cookware we needed to make lunch and dinner daily. We will definitely be back!”
