“I booked a room at Nicolin for my dad to stay while he was in town for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Location was very convenient as it was close to food and other amenities in town. The owner went out of his way to ensure all of my dad's needs were met, and was incredibly friendly and helpful. This meant a lot to me as my father is older and I'm very protective of him! The yard space was very nice....was not able to enjoy it due to the cold winter weather, but it would be an excellent space to enjoy in nicer weather. Very much enjoyed the breakfast as well. Would absolutely book again!!”

“We had a wonderful time at the Branded Calf! Breakfast was fresh every morning and the host was an amazing cook. She’s also delightful to talk to, and she has a wealth of knowledge on the local area. She really helped us figure out what we wanted to do for our stays in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Everything was very clean and the accommodations were very nice. I highly recommend everyone stay here for their visit, we loved it!”

You get a private bedroom, bathroom and sitting room but you share the house with 2 strangers in the next room which I did not realize. The description never really tells you that. We got lucky that our 2 strangers were very nice.”

“I've stayed here off and on throughout my life and I must say every time I have been there my place was Very clean no bugs no problems no drama it's very quiet management very kind and understanding definitely recommend if you need a place to get in your feet here's the place to go ask for Todd and tell him Duane & his wife sent you promise you won't be disappointed really the cheapest place to live in the two counties either RV or efficiency. I love the new remodel every is updated and working just fine. Keep up the good work King RV & Motel we greatly appreciate you and honestly don't know where our little family would be without you. We were homeless with two kids & they opened there doors to us we struggled for a little bit now starting to get back on our feet this place is a temporary place to call home if you do t have one. “I like the huge bed. Everything is neat and not dirty. No microwave or fridge or even vending machines, . It's not expensive but for$75 a night i would at least expect to have a mini fridge or microwave. But it's clean ( Thank God!) And the staff is friendly, not nosey, i dig it. I wanna say for the price it's worth it but not true unfortunately. Just grateful for the cleanliness!! And cool staff”

“Great Park. Have been RVing here since 2016. Security is a bit over the top, but there have been issues and hopefully things will get in the main stream with other Navy Parks. New Manager, Romeo, is doing a great job and helped me when I arrived on a Friday night. Some paperwork hadn't been completed on my married daughter but we all worked it out. Still a great place to stay and will continue parking here. Beautiful place.”

“There is construction going on, the room had a pretty bad paint job (big yellow spot where they replaced the breaker) and they wouldn't allow late check out even though the whole place was practically empty (10am is too early). Don't mind site construction but could have been given a heads up. Place was nice clean and comfy, and staff was responsive over text. I think it's a bigger company managing the property which explains the shortcomings. There was flooding and construction on the adjacent street (had to walk extra blocks to get to the beach) which is no big deal but they could have warned us as well. Basically less than advertised but good experience.”
