My housemates are sweet, classy ladies that I love to be around that I have made some great friendships that I will cherish forever. The two main reason why I decided on this crash pad was because of the homey, welcoming environment and the lady who runs the house has one of the sweetest souls I have ever met. The house is conveniently located 8 minutes from the employee C parking lot at DFW and boy has this been beneficial the few times I'm running late. Hope to see y'all soon.”

“Hands down, one of the cleanest, prettiest campgrounds I've stayed in. Nice camp store with a small variety of cute souvenirs, refreshing pool and hot tub (yes, even in 98° heat), several outdoor kitchens with sinks, clean and level gravel sites for RVs and tents, clean dog run with rakes, shovels and a hose, gorgeous scenic views, game room...the list goes on. Camp hosts were lovely and wrapped up our purchase for shipping. Guests were quiet and friendly. My only regret is not staying longer.”

“Nice size gambling facility with non smoking areas. Wide variety of games. Good sports bar and grill. They have a nice non- smoking hotel with room service, a pool on the second or third floor, a spa and exercise area. The attached casino has free soft serve ice cream along with fountain drinks and coffee and tea machines. Enjoyed my visit there.”

“Had a blast at this place last weekend. The tents were very comfortable and clean and the facilities were well maintained and easily accessible. The cabanas along the river made for the perfect spot for grilling with close access to the San Marcos river which was the perfect spot to hang out during the heat of the day. The property manager is Xavier and he took care of everything that was needed. He went out of his way to make sure that everyone was taken care of. We will definitely be back. Tom and Cindy”

“I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading some of the negative posts. We stayed for three nights and we were very pleased. Yes it is near I-45 and as such you will hear some road noise. But it’s negligible. As far as the road into the park, not any worse than some other parks we’ve stayed at. The location to the things we needed was the best around. It was a little pricey, but I for got to mention FREE laundry! And the WiFi had a strong signal. I only used it to update some of my apps but it seemed pretty fast.”

The Uxbridge HS Class of 2022 just hosted their Safe Graduation cookout at Stone Manor in Hopkinton and it was a fantastic night. Anna felt like part of the team helping us with setup and managing the event throughout the night. She was truly invested in making sure the cookout was special for the kids. “Cannot say enough good things about this place. What a sweet gem of a bed and breakfast. The entire place was cozy, welcoming and sparkling clean. “Found the hotel by happenstance - stopped for a lunch at Layla and fell in love with the property. We were staying at another hotel but promptly checked out and checked in at MacArthur Place instead! The property was incredibly beautiful with plenty of winding garden paths between buildings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery with swings and fire pits. The room was similarly beautiful and well decorated. Everything in the hotel feels very deliberate and thoughtful, with a perfect mix of luxury and comfort. Service was exceptional. Hands down one of our favorite parts about the visit here, will definitely come back!”

“Super friendly manager whose son showed us to our room and gave us the key! He then gave each of us a complimentary slice of a delicious lime tart on the house! Sure, parts of the backpacker hostel are somewhat run-down but this gives it history and charm and is evidence the place is well-loved. 1849 Hostel is the exact opposite of pretentious so don’t stay here is you are expecting five star. My family stayed here for a night after a long drive from Perth and we will definitely come back! It screams character and the long-term tenants were so friendly to my kids. We are so appreciative of everything. And we even had a couple of drinks at The Liberte which is ridiculously close-by! I think it was voted as one of the best Pubs in WA a while ago.”

“What a lovely little Motel. Just like the old days. Bobby Patel took my phone reservation and was so honestly friendly. They didn't need a deposit but just asked if our plans changed to call. Like the old days when people trusted one another (like we all should, be trustworthy). The Motel was clean top to bottom, parking was easy, landscape well cared for and the room comfortable and clean. You can really tell that the manager and staff care about this little gem of a Motel. I would not hesitate to stay again. It is a great value and I hope it stays that way. You may wonder why they have a high rating. After you arrive you will understand. “I have been a part of this park for over 10 years, my parents bought their first home here and absolutely loved the community. The office staff is easy to work with and the park is pretty quiet. I just wish there were fences on the property so it felt more like my home with a yard, this open space allows me to see the trashy yards behind me every time im outside.”

“Really enjoyed my stay. Off season and discounted as they are doing some remodeling of the restaurant I wasn't expecting much. What I got was exactly the opposite. The manager put forth every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and spacious in a 118 year old building way. I'm not sure what people complaining about room size were expecting. It's in the heart of a very nice shopping and entertainment district with everything I needed in short walking distance. Breakfast was delicious with a quiet porch to eat it outside. Can't recommend this place highly enough.”
