“The owner is very helpful and is really working hard , along with his employees to clean the place up. Our room is clean and we are allowed to have our dogs at no extra charge( rare) and I was surprised that it's pretty quiet The manager is super nice, but enforces the rules. I really have to say that outside appearances don't always tell.the whole story. Due to circumstances beyond our control we ended up staying here last minute. The owner really saved us and our dogs from being homeless by working with us. I'm grateful to have this roof over my head today.Great Great people!!!”

“This was a MUCH needed time away. The cabin that we rented wasn't extravagant. You had to provide everything you may need from bathroom, bedding, and to the kitchen. We were fine with this. We did have a few minor things that happened. The owner(s) were very prompt to make sure that our stay was great. Our A/C unit was froze over (our last night there) and they just had it fixed a few days prior, fortunately Charlie Jr was there within 10 minutes to fix it with a little unit to ease our stay. There was a dog lose, turns out it was the neighbors dog, but the owners are very tentative. As soon as I messaged the owner, the son came about 5-10 minutes after that on our first night there to make sure the dog wasn't bothering us and tried to get Marley (the white creamy colored dog) to go home. Other than these minor set backs it was a WONDERFUL stay. You have the beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding cabins are very nice. There is a little boat dock and small playground for children too. They have their own little bonfire, picnic table and grills at each station. If you need a weekend away that doesn't cost a fortune, this is a great place.”

“We had such a nice visit here, staying from the 27th-30th of December. The room was clean and comfortable and they allow children, which is hard to find in a bed and breakfast. Breakfast was very tasty. The best part though is Cathy and John, who had such wonderful stories to tell and had such enthusiasm for the area and for history. They made us feel like family. We would love to come back.”

“This hotel was amazing for all our guest. We held a huge event this past Saturday and Clock Tower accommodated a bunch of our key speakers and musicians from all around the country. Along with several guest that came from all over the country that stayed here and came to our event. Mendy, the manager of the hotel, was an awesome person to work with over the few months leading up to the event. Even the day after she helped accommodate us. If we could give a 100 stars for this hotel we would. Absolute great place to stay and we will definitely be working together in the future.”

“We stayed for 5 days in #44 and we loved it! Everything was very clean and up to date. It was the perfect space for 4 people. We will definitely be booking again in the future! The walk to the Beach is easy and the pool on site is the perfect size for kiddos to play in. The complex was quiet and we never had any issues with being disturbed by any other guests. #44 had some extra beach stuff left behind by previous families like beach chairs, sand toys, and a beach umbrella which was really nice. And there were also some beach towels provided! The location is great! It's so close to all kinds of things, including just a few minutes from John's Pass. We will definitely be back again!”

“We camped with another couple at a nearby campground and came here our second day. Pros: -It was great to use a real bathroom. -They also have showers in the locker rooms. -Their mini store has odds and ends we wound up needing. -Salted Caramel Ice Cream was delicious -The main pool felt great. -Did not smell sulfuric and water was super soft -Free water was available in the store for swimmers. -Perfect for the day after a hike to sooth muscles. -Had no issues with staff. Other reviews mentioned bad attitudes and discrimination. We were a mixed group of races. The ladies were not overly nice but weren't rude either. They were very matter of fact but I tend to like that about people. Other Facts: -We went on a hot day, bring sandals to wear up to the waters edge. We burned our feet. -$20 per person to swim -Hot Tub closer to the road seemed much hotter -They do not allow dogs (even well behaved on a leash tied up). This is a great stop, especially for anyone camping at one of the dry campgrounds like we did. It may not be the Hilton of hot springs for some, but for us, it was perfect! Thank you for a great time, we'll be back.”

Ross was always on call and responded in minutes to any question or concern. The game room was especially fun for my teenagers. “While visiting family during the Thanksgiving holidays, we decided to book a last minute hotel room. We opted to give AVID a try not just once but for three nights in a row. We were pleasantly surprised. From check-in to check-out, we had friendly customer service with a smile. The first night, we stayed in Room 417 with two queen beds thinking our son was going to say with us. The bed, pillows, linens & comforter were so comfortable! Nights two & three were spent in room 428 with a king size bed. Again, we slept very comfortably. If we had any neighbors, we never heard them. Thank you Raymond and team for helping make our stay wonderful! Next time we’re in town, this will be our go to hotel. Keep up the great customer service with a smile!!”
