“I catered for a friends wedding here the pictures do not do it justice! We did have all the hotel and house for the weekend. We were able to keep the house an extra night and appreciate it even more. This is not a new cookie cutter mold motel. It is a beautifully maintained unique property that has an elegant feel to it. All of the rooms are different and just lovingly cared and maintained decorated beautifully. Three beautiful boat slips with docks. I stayed in the pool room omg the view is outstanding. My bed was fantastic lots of pillows and blankets were cozy. I found the property to be spotless. There is daily staff on the property super helpful and friendly. The office provides bottled water and breakfast cakes etc.”

“If I ever had a rental, I would do it just like this. We have rented from many places up in Shaver Lake, but this by far has the most personal touches. You just know they put their heart into this place. Yes, spacious, just like everyone says (really though, it is so spacious!), but there are soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers in all of the showers. Huge rolls of toilet tissue, lots of towels. I normally get nervous and bring alot of things from home, but food, snow toys and gear and clothes and you're pretty set. Thank you David and Dottie for sharing your lovely vacation home with our family. We've done this 9 years in a row and they all said this was their favorite rental.”

“My room was very clean, the air conditioner system was very powerful my room stayed cold this month in July even with the air off. My room was very updated. I had a very nice vanity by the bathroom. The bathroom had a very nice walk in shower with a glass door, a very nice long mirror not to far from the main door. I had 2 Queen beds the mattresses was very comfortable, my sheets, pillow cases, rags, and towels was very clean. The room had basic amenities, blow, dryer, television,refrigerator, microwave, iron, and ironing board. The atmosphere and environment felt safe and my room and surroundings was very quiet and pleasant.The front desk clerk was very, pleasant, and respectful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!”

“I've lived here for about 6years now. It's quiet and peaceful for the most part. We stay to ourselves and don't have many issues with anyone. Our only complaint is our next door neighbor and another neighbor tend to play their music so loud my house shakes. We have complained to every manager we have had, and nothing changes. States in lease it's not aloud. Same as fireworks, but every year we deal with our neighbors 🏠 hitting our home with them. I'm scared my home will catch on fire. We follow the rules, so should everyone else.”

“Michael and Steve are excellent hosts. They are living the quiet(-ish) life with their flock of birds, herd of dogs and the beautiful Vista of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The room was perfect, private and comfy. I had my own bathroom and it was furnished smartly. The whole upstairs is for guests, and they have a sitting room and wee coffee and snack station chock full of tasty things. One of the best AirBnBs I have stayed at.”
