“My daughter and our dog Gator and I stayed at the Arthur Feeser estate bed and breakfast this weekend. We came to the area because we are major history buffs and wanted to walk the Gettsburg battlefield. Unfortunately, mother nature didn't cooperate, the weather was awful so we couldn't really spend any time exploring the battlefield, but the experience we had at the Arthur Feeser Bed and Breakfast was wonderful and we will be back for another visit as soon as schedules permit. The estate is beautiful! A grand foyer, hardwood floors, beautiful architecture, many furnishings that were original to the home in 1920, absolutely immaculate. The estate is stunning. Our room was comfortable and provided every amenity needed. There is a formal dining area but also a cozy breakfast nook to enjoy scratch made goodies baked by Tim daily as well as coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Our hosts Jonathan and Tim were so kind, informative and engaging. They recommended a restaurant called Bud's just a few minutes up the road and we had a lovely dining experience. Our hosts were so charming and treated our dog Gator like they raised him from a pup. We will definitely be back. I would recommend the Arthur Feeser Estate to anyone visiting the area who is looking for a unique lodging experience.”

“The stay was great, although the bathrooms have a lot to be desired. The king size rooms need a curtain or a full door so water don’t get everywhere (on floors, door.) Need a place to hang towels and washcloths, maybe a rail in shower for wash cloths. There is no exhaust fan and the mirror gets fogged up. Shower head leaks, knob is loose, no bumper on top of inside bathroom door. The curtains don't fit door, there is still light coming in. When the construction workers stay, they smoke weed and that is rude for people on vacation staying here. The breakfast bar need bacon and hash browns. The orange juice didn’t taste right.”

“Very quiet and good overall experience. Most of the hotels I've stayed at the ac barley work this hottel had brand new units . All long with a refrigerator microwave coffee pot and even an iron and ironing board. Oh I forgot to and hair dryer. The shower/ bathtub had great water pressure. Overall a great hotel I would stay again.”

“First time for me visiting, my overall experience was beyond amazing. The entire campsite had tons of activities going on including the big water slide,The swimming pool is perfect for family time and not too deep (max 5 feet), miniature golf, basket ball court, a shuttle to go into Niagara Falls, and bike vehicles that could be for a group of four or individual. They even had a bouncy castle for the small kids.The bathrooms were great and had showers with stalls along with a bathtub. The office is well stocked with camping necessities if you run short of supplies.Also has if fire wood, ice cream and slushy, a gift shop and a Arcade. They also have a rec room with different events for kids and family e.g dances for kids etc.”

“I had an issue with the refrigerator however I was pleasantly surprised at the speed at which the maintenance man came to rectify that. They literally came in and swapped out the whole refrigerator for entirely different one and a little after 11:00 p.m. at that.”

“I’ve stayed here a couple times. The first time there were some little issues but I just overlooked it. I was on the Oceanside of hotel on third floor and through the big picture window was able to really enjoy seeing the ocean from my room. Amazing view. I didn’t eat there but they offer breakfast. It’s about 5 or less minute walk to the beach. The beach is really nice at that area. There is a park and mini golf, a wooden walkway runs along the beach, there are a few restaurants and a surf shop within walking distance. There is also a small skate park and a rink where a group was doing skate hockey.”

“Beautiful base. Beautiful scenery, would love to be stationed here. Open your windows and see the ocean every morning! I stayed at the little inn/cottage in the middle of the parking lot land it was cute, little, and cozy. Perfect for solo or a couple to stay at except there was no air conditioner. I’m assuming since it right by the beach, the air conditioner would not be a necessary however, those of us who like it COLD at night, may need to think of either staying somewhere else or bringing a fan or vet small air conditioner with you. Especially if your staying for a few days or more. I’ve also stayed at an actual guest HOUSE which was HUGE. Also very nice, great for large families or groups. They also have a building that used to be old barracks for rooms to rent. Not to bad. Overall, this was a small base, beautiful location. Outside the base is busy and crowed since it’s in the city but the base…:would love to visit again.”

“We cannot recommend Windy Hill Farm enough! From our first visit we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Holding a wedding at Windy Hill Farm feels like having the perfect backyard wedding (if your backyard came with a historic home, baby goats, and all of the perks of a professional wedding venue). Not only is the setting picturesque, but Chiara is one of the warmest and kindest people we have ever met. She honestly made the process of planning a wedding in only 7 months so much easier. We knew she was always a text, email, or call away if we had any questions. She is a true professional and provided us with so many tools and recommendations to help us plan our day. When we visited the venue during the planning process, she made us feel welcome. On the day of the wedding, she was there the entire time helping to make sure our day went smoothly and to answer any questions we had. She and her team made sure everything was set up and were patient with us while we tried to decide if the weather would hold out long enough to have our wedding outdoors. The venue itself is beautiful and allows so much flexibility – we were really able to make the day our own and everything turned out even better than we could have imagined.”
