Several comfortable rooms off the spacious main space with fireplace, commercial level kitchen and food prep area, dining room big enough for 20-25 people. Large grassy areas are great for families or tossing a ball, backs onto woods so lovely green / nature vibe, minutes from hiking and world class wineries. Highly recommend!”

“My family and I were looking for a place to stay as a “pit stop” on our road trip from Minnesota to Texas. I googled the safest cities near KC and Prairie Village was it! We enjoyed it so much we booked 3 nights on our way back home. Our kids loved fishing on the lake as well as the playgrounds across the way. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We liked that a room key is needed to access other floors. Room was spacious and smelled amazing, the lake view was cozy. Great location, too! We felt right at home.”

“We decided to stay here for me & my husband’s 1 year marriage anniversary, and Sherita(Manager) was so nice and helpful. She left a note with Bernetta to allowed me to check in early so I could decorate the room so I could surprise my husband. The huge jacuzzi was a plus, Bernette was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. This hotel was nice and clean thanks for making my anniversary special!”

“Good and bad...The receptionist were courteous and professional, however, the room was not what you would expect from their website reviews. The sheets did not looked like they were washed and the public restrooms for the hotel were a lot cleaner than the one in the room. There was a wet towel in the shower from, I believe, the previous guests. Another great thing about the place was the sunset view from the back and their free breakfast at their restaurant "Sunio." Again the view of the Pacific waves were some of the best scenery I've seen in a long time. I would give the hotel an 8 overall, with the room a 6. I would suggest you bring your own sheets and pillows and enjoy the beautiful scenery.”

My teenager always asks to go to the Sunday evening events, and for adults the regular meetings and dinners of small groups are a highlight of my week.”

“My 3 year old shepherd mix, Goldie, is very shy and nervous around new people. Like many other dogs, at 60 lbs, she’s nearly impossible to bathe at home—and don’t even get me started on trying to trim her nails at home. I used to take her to a pet store nearby, and while the groomer there did a nice job, it was so loud and overwhelming for her. The ladies at Glamour Grooming are so sweet! I can tell the environment is much calmer and relaxing for Goldie. Their prices are better too, and I love that I know I’m supporting a local business. And the cherry on the top is the seasonal/holiday photo they take at the end! Five stars!”
