“Hospitality here is beyond any B&B I've ever been to. You truly feel like you are in Hawaii. Private bedrooms, bath and living area. Climate controlled pool room with heated pool. Outside is a tropical paradise with plants and flowers. We were greeted with a delicious welcome meat, fruit and cheese board with a glass of vino. We got a full breakfast the next morning and had our coffee out by the forest. We also used a wonderful luxurious hot tub and later we walked the scenic trail. We felt very special and catered to our every need. We came here for the wineries and the distilleries near by. This place was well worth the money.”

“We have been doing a family outing at this golf course for 20 plus years. The course is amazing and very fun to play. Some of the best greens I've ever played. The condos and pro shop and food have gone downhill tremendously. Condo smell of mold floors are soft from being wet. If the course was not so fun we would probably move our outing somewhere else. The stay is pretty rough.”

“I really do enjoy staying at extended stays because I'd rather eat in than out. This location is rather attractive and in a quiet area (in my opinion). What's working: cordial and attentive staff, convenient store with snacks and drinks, pool and patio area with grills, well-designed rooms with efficient layout. A balanced selection of breakfast eats. What could be better: there really isn't much. Our room had a little wonkiness with the curtains being off the track and the closet door with one handle; no facial tissue in the tissue holder... no big deal.”

“We just left Beachclub after a two month stay and while not our first, it was our first booking with Padre Escapes. I could easily note a few of the good or disappointing things in regards to the Beachclub complex itself or the particular rental unit we stayed in, but this review is about our experience with Padre Escapes and I can honestly say that ours was almost completely positive in every respect but one. I'll get to that, but from a strictly professional sense this office and its staff are spot-on. Questions prior to booking were immediately answered and resulting online documentation was straightforward and easily understood. We had a couple of minor concerns shortly after arrival and these were addressed almost instantly. Every representative we met was polite, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely concerned about our needs. Follow-through, if necessary, was always given priority - we could not have been more pleased. So why only four stars? Simply put, it's their insistence on a minimum two month stay for 'Winter Texan' bookings. In the past we've booked one month and six week stays, from both individual owners and third party managers, and neither required a minimum stay. Some rent by the night, some by the week, but you have to book at least a full month to avoid hospitality taxes. Frankly we found one month to be too short and two months a bit too long. For us six weeks seems just right, but that's our opinion alone. Obviously we've accepted this because we've already rebooked for next year, but we'd be happier with six weeks instead. If two months or more works for you dear reader, then simply imagine a fifth star above this review. And again, this is not about Beachclub or any rental condo unit. That's another story, this concerns Padre Escapes and only Padre Escapes.”

“Got a Groupon to try this out and I loved it. I will definitely be back and probably will be a regular at this location. I was in search of Aqua therapy for my multiple injuries and this hot salt water soak did wonders. Location is good loads of parking staff is friendly the place is immaculately clean. The vibe here is so chill that I fell asleep in the tub. With my blow up pillow it was great. The best nap I've had in years. I will definitely be back! And I recommend it to everybody who has any kind of pain. Or just wants a relaxing spa day.”

Susie makes an absolutely fantastic breakfast and was more than accommodating when it came to our fluid schedule and hunting prep-needs. It was great to have a nice bed and shower with room to do one final gear check in between fishing for rainbows off the dock! Trust me when I tell you, start and end your hunting adventure here!!!”
