“Great course. Staff was very pleasant, helpful and available. Course was pretty challenging, lots of elevation changes, challenging greens and hazards that make you think about your shots before you take them. Greens were super fast, even though there's been a ton of rain this week. Hold well and challenging slopes that are difficult to read. Very good course for the rate. Not the cheapest and no where near the most expensive. Great place to play!”

“The main entrance was lovely and the person taking us on a tour was very nice. We're looking for a 3bed, 2(+1/2 if possible) bath, w/a large balcony. The almost have what we're looking for, but the layouts make it look & cause it to be small in the main area, as well as a smaller kitchen. I asked if the closets were done with shelving & hanging & he said yes, but when I saw them for myself, all they had was hanging wire type around the walls of the closet, (can put something on top of the wire hanging part), but no REAL shelves or any other kind of organization other than the hanging. We were disappointed. Parking for individual units is NOT offered, even for handicap. There are elevators, but having parking We can depend on, due to my spine condition causing my handicap situation is extremely important. I wasn't told anything about possibly making some kind of arrangement for me to have something like that so I'd be able to live there without additional hassle or stress. It became apparent that my request for that was a no go from the start. I'm very flexible, so most compromises could possibly have worked. We did like it there, but we doubt it would work for us. I would recommend it to others for sure! We just have issues with it that cause us to look at other places.”

Smack dab in a spot near shopping centers as well as amusement parks. “I've been vacationing at Cannons for almost 30 years. The property is kept up, clean and a great place for families to vacation. The marina is across the street, so convenient if you're traveling by boat, or you want to rent a boat. The beach is amazing, and great place to go shelling. You have plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, grocery shop or simply browse the shops. Perfect place to get away to.”

“Good place to stay for an over night or a week or 2. The hosts are friendly but don't clean up after their dog as well as a couple others that reside here. If your a vet there's a VFW across from the park an the stores are only a few minutes away. A few blocks down they have a dog park for your dog or dogs to run in a fenced enclosure. It's not a Mobil home park it's an RV park that's part on the Expo Center”

And to complete the experience talk to the manager/owner/maitre..( I’m not sure, I didn’t ask him) he seem to be every where, aware of every detail that makes the place, ‘this place’, run like a well oiled and tuned machine. “I rarely rate a hotel this high, but this property is extremely deserving of this five-star-across-the-board-rating. Great location, very good staff, superb service from housekeeping and an overall very good experience. I was in town for eight days. The property is solid! Literally. Freight lines run behind the hotel and you will never once feel or hear the trains. In true Texas fashion, the other guests are polite and respectful and you rarely hear any noise from the corridor or adjoining rooms. Only in Texas will you have a mini friendly argument over who gets to exit the elevator first. The hotel's front end faces the parking garage and it's hilarious how many people go to the roof just to talk or walk around. It's also a destination for car guys to get together and take group photos. There's a Dave & Buster's, gourmet tea cafe and a large brand new theater all within walking distance. You can also drive there if you're too tired. It takes about a minute. I will definitely be back to this property as this is a hotel that is doing everything right and knows the hospitality business!”

“Wonderful. Fantastic. We enjoyed Arbor Creek so much that we extended our stay. So quiet peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub and fire pit are great. We like the pool but it is too cold to swim in. There is not a dishwasher so we ate out a lot but did grill one night. Lot of nice amenities. Great place we look forward to staying again. The deer were awesome to see so many. So cute.”
