Highly recommend Bergheim Ranch for your event!! We rented the Windmill house out for the night before the wedding and it was perfect for me and my bridal party. We had such a wonderful time getting ready there. It was spacious and cozy and the view of the ranch in the morning was beautiful!”

If it's a job to fix, aye he get to it and another thing I'd like to point out is his friendliness, it's comfortable to know the place you stay is being well kept, overall good atmosphere, Tom the manager he has had patience and also has worked with me and my family, missy is just always smiles! Great service, keeps the hotel looking great, and has concern for all needs with notification, the other girls are always smiling and working hard also, I can't complain honestly, I say it's the best place in the area to lay your head at the best price also, so inn town wanna say your the best!!!!!!”

“My wife and I vacation in Texas every year and change the location each time. This stay was great! Located in an area that is close to express traffic without having the traffic noise, not even in the parking lot. The breakfast was decent and on par with what Home2 is known for; but, the staff was outstanding. Eager to help, answered every question as best they could and gave suggestions on where to find information they did not have. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the care and action they put on our needs helped us enjoy our vacation with less stress. We may deviate from our location hopping to stay here again when back in the area.”

“Betty Ann and Bruce are true blue Gods children. They were very personable and accommodating. They didn’t have a problem with me extending my stay and they made me feel right at home. I feel blessed to meet such a nice couple and I will always remember my stay,, while I was closing my real estate purchase. The only problem I had was staying at a corporate hotel the first week I was in Largo. Wish I knew about the Sea Star before I drove by it. “Angela's is my newest favorite local sandwich shop. This is such a gem to live nearby. Each week they rotate through a weekly sandwich special and always carry traditional favorites like the Italian. Their sandwiches are made on fresh bakery bread with fresh ingredients and unique combinations. Their bakery items are delicious as well but they vary in what they decide to make that week. One time they carried Cronuts and I hope they bring them back as a permanent item!”

“I found a home here after looking for many many months for my family. It used to be a mobile home park but you actually own the land here now! All the newer homes are manufactured homes which I found a great deal on a foreclosure. 4 oak trees on my property and views of the Buena Vista Buttes. Lots of kids here and plenty for them to do. They have holiday parties including Santa Claus coming through on a fire truck giving out toys on Christmas Eve if you're out front when he drives by your house! The pool and hot tub are nice. There is a playground basketball courts and Lawn area for volleyball or whatever. In the summertime they set up a big screen outside on the lawn area and there is a movie or concert for the community every weekend. Unfortunately after cheating, abandoning us, and the year-long restraining order removed from her, my ex-girlfriend and mother of my two boys took our home because I was stupid enough to put it in her name only. Terry the manager runs the place quite well and I probably owe her therapy fees. When I told her we were putting it in her name only Terry wisely asked, "Are you sure you want to do that?" I should have listened . She seems to listen to everyone's concerns quite well.”

Well kept and clean area out in the country. Seems like a nice place to call home. Not sure if any place is available for purchase or rent, but if you're looking for a place to live in the area, this area seems reasonable, close to 2 major cities, but far enough away not to have to deal with city nonsense.”

“Out of all the places we stayed on our trip to California this was bay far the best. Nice smelling lobby with a chess board and free wine from 5-6pm. The rooms were clean and bright and ours had a private patio area. The cozy pool hot tub and fire pit was a great spot to relax. Just a quick walk to the beach and another short walk to lots of restaurants shopping and other beaches and museums. Will be back again with our kids next time.”

The only issue we had was with a very large homeless population in the area - they are literally in the road on your way into the entrance, and the exterior door areas all smell like someone has used the bathroom right next to it. From the moment we booked they started the customer service experience by engaging via text message. This created a personal touch to a booking I had never experienced. It also made it much more appealing and easier to book “activities and Chefs meals” (which are delicious). What really impressed me was on our final night.. South Texas got hit with a rare freeze, and this created some unforeseen and unfortunate obstacles for the staff due to water lines and other mechanical issues that were affected by this. The staffs response starting with the GM Heather was most impressive to me. They aimed first to take care of each guest by servicing breakfast as usual and then they turned their attention to servicing the guest by offering things like credit for future stays etc. it would of been easy to fold and panic as a staff but they focused on the customers first and it was the best customer service experience I have witnessed. We will be back, many times! Thank you!”
