“I have been here many times, and each time I learn something new about American history. There is a fun 20 minute live presentation that provides an overview of the Constitution's history, and then interactive exhibits that cover major milestones and amendments. The exhibits are truly interactive, and include voting booths, trivia, audio segments, video, and more. They also have rare early drafts of the Constitution, which are really cool to see together so you can see the document's evolution. The Signers Hall features life size bronze statues of all the men present for the signing of the Constitution, which is one of the coolest aspects of the museum. Docents are easy to spot and eager to answer questions and tell you more about the museum. They are all knowledgeable and friendly, and one of the museum's best resources. Plus, it's right by Independence Mall and many other Center City historic sites. Also be sure to check out the website, which features at least some of the exhibits in digital format.”

“This museum is dedicated to early American history, and contains various artifacts. One section contains items that would have been used in life during the early 20th century. The other section contains other artifacts such as hunting weapons and decoys, as well as some tools and arrowheads from each time period across from a detailed model of an Indian village. This museum hosts events and presentations about various topics regularly. Please note that people who are severely allergic to cats may find this place slightly unpleasant due to the 2 friendly cats who can be seen occasionally.”

“I rode the ghost train and had a wonderful time! How wonderful that they were able to restore this 1950s era train and give us all this train experience. The train car was decorated for Halloween and there were costumed characters and a story teller. They also had a bonfire for us at the end of the ride and gave us all popcorn cooked over the fire. We also got to tour the haunted Roads Hotel. I definitely recommend this ride. I’m looking forward to the Reindeer Ride!”

“This is primitive camping ... There is no water or electric ... If you are equipped to handle that you will be treated to some awesome camping ... Just stay away from the boat launch as it is a party spot for the locals ...”

“This museum was small, but has a lot of interesting things about the Texas Long Horn, and local history. You are first introduced by watching a short film, then lead to a 2nd and 3rd story viewing of memorabilia, history and art. I really enjoyed the visit, and learning about how Texas has is genuine breed of Long Horns that are native to the land, and how a few ranches have preserved this type of cattle.”
