“Very pretty area. We did just short of 8 miles during our visit. Ran into some deer and did some geocaching. It was fairly empty but we did see a few other people, it was chilly during our visit. The trails were mostly paved, some of the smaller ones were not but were still clearly visible. Mostly pretty flat so a decent easy walk.”

“Plenty of free parking, lots of playground equipment, tons of room for all sports activities, nice restrooms. Great family escape.”

“Pretty spot and a fun ride and it's free!! Like actually free. The trails are all really twisty and it could use a few more straight downhills with a few jumps, but are semi technical, and good for an intermediate rider. I had a really hard time getting airborne at all on these trails, would've liked a few more opportunities to fly... All in all a great place to spend an hour and get in a little fun..”

“It may be because it was cold out even though it's May 9th, but there was no one there which allowed the dog I was watching to run and play. The grass had been cut recently, it was clean throughout the park. There are the normal things for the kids to play on. Just a very nice little park.”

“Great campground, nice clean pool, lots of fun activities for the kids. The activities come at little bit of a premium price vs state park camping but it can be a nice change of pace and the kids love it. Everyone working there we dealt with was super nice and friendly. Teenage staff were wonderful with the kids. Our young kids (all under 10) enjoyed the playground, pool, and seeing Yogi Bear around the campsite.”

“This is really close to my home so I have been here many times. It's a great historical site and well maintained. The site is not well advertised and a bit hidden for the general public so large crowds are never a problem. Ample parking and easy to navigate walking trail, no bikes allowed on the trails so they aren't torn up. The observation deck was rebuilt a couple of years ago and I good condition.”

“Small park that makes for a great spot for a picnic or to just watch the air traffic at BFI. This area does have a large hobo population but also a lot of underrated places to order takeout.”

“Love this place, a new fave. I was hiking here yesterday; did the white blaze trail round trip - 4.6 mi. I'll be going back, and add some photos.”

“Nice and quiet. Some welcomed mature shade trees. Well kept. Not unkempt as some parks are.”

“Nice park. Also very cool that it has a historical significance. If you read the signs you will understand the history of the area.”

“My friend and I went to Picchetti Winery while we visited California and it was good time. The wine tasting was reasonably priced and the wine was really good. Our bartender, Mattie, was kind, knowledgeable and attentive. I would definitely come back and recommend others to try them out too.”

“Amazing specimen garden of mostly Rhododendrons within The Bartlett Arboretum. Due to the density and curving trails, it provides an immersive experience. Expect to find branches growing into trails, some at eye level, so keep your eyes open for when walking. There are also lots of rocks on the trails, so keep your eyes there too!”

“The High Bridge Park North is a cute little park at the foot of the High Bridge with a winding spiral around a stone sculpture. The atmosphere is creative and inspiring, and the large green chair within the park is fun for photos. My only critical feedback would be that there definitely needs to be a plaque or signage here! There is absolutely no information within the park on the history/meaning of the sculptures, or even the name of the park! 😂”

“We went in June and it was cooler up there for sure, but it was perfect because the hiking heated us up quite a bit. We were all still sweating a descent amount. The views are fantastic and the trail is clear and quite visible. There was only one part where we had a question of where the trail was, but we found it pretty easy. It was during a rock avalanche crossing part of the hike. Would recommend!”

“Been here for a month, we plan on staying until January. Debbie the Mgr has been super nice and helpful to us. There are a lot of permanent residents but they have plenty of nice sites for transit travelers. The park is super clean and was easy to menuver our 41 toyhauler. There is construction on hwy 54 in front of the park but it hardly noticeable in our coach. I am very glad we found this great park.”

“This is a real nice park! And it is keep very clean! They have lots of soccer fields, lots of Baseball fields, some basketball courts, and a few trails, but if you follow the trial behind the park, Aliso Creek Trail, you can meet other trails. Great park for sports playing, lots of open space. There is people always walking in and around the park. There is also a bike jumping trail, and a bike jumping little made up city that you can get to through the park, you won’t see it unless you follow one of the park trails and look down the mountain side. Parking is plenty, and if you want to park by the Baseball fields, there are signs posted that says “Park at your own risk,” I assume that is because of a ball may fly out and hit your car, even though there are nets to capture loose balls, but I guess it is still a possibility. Great park for walking, playing, running, biking!”

“My son loves to play here. We have had family gatherings in the picnic area. They are first come first serve. Overall clean park. Indoor restrooms next to swimming area is always clean and stocked.”

“Memphis Lake is a Nebraska State Park campground and day campground. They have sites for tents and campers. They also have some shelter set up for day use. The lake is perfect size for paddling around on a kayak or paddle board. I also saw a lot of people fishing there. They have vault toilets but they do not have showers. I'd probably go back because it's only a 40 minute drive from my house in Omaha. If my review was useful please click the thumbs up. Also click the thumbs up on my photos if you like them.”

“This is a lovely park; however, it is small, especially if you obey the restricted path signs. Ignoring those signs, you can get in about a 1.25-mile hike. The paths are only well maintained on the primary-way but there are some additional less maintained ones that have an interesting perspective. If you are driving from Madison, chain this with some other park such as Natural Bridge State Park to make it worthwhile.”

“I visited from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed the day there, The Dixson is very nice art gallery and the grounds are so beautiful! I saw a really great exhibit on Women's Sporting Fashion from 1800 - 1960. It was a unique and very well curated exhibit. There was also a local designer, professor with her formal dress designs on display, too. The impressionist, permanent collection, which was very nice, is mostly housed in an original old Memphis home. They also have a nice collection of Meissen China, a children's workshop area, a comfy bistro, and if course the beautiful grounds and cutting garden. Unbelievably, this is all free. They also have beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings and other events. I highly recommend it.”

“You couldn't ask for more from a public executive length course. For the cost the entire course is well maintained, greens are in serviceable condition, and the staff is very friendly. In terms of maintainence quality it's only a step down from some private clubs - and exceeds all of the cheaper public courses in the area. Hole 7 is especially fun. Great for beginners, if you want to play a relaxed par 3 this is the perfect course.”
