“Extremely clean, family friendly campground with a theme park feel! There were so many fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. The staff were nice and helpful. This is our new favorite place to camp. It's also very accessible with cabins for rent that have wheelchair ramps. There were no lifts at the pools but there's upgrades happening and I'm hoping that is something they eventually add. The first bathroom stall is the wheelchair accessible one in the main bathroom which was so nice to see! We love, love, LOVE this place!!! Also, the dog parks were a huge plus!”

“A nice secluded park with very little visitors. There is a shaded picnic table and trail that opens up to a grass field suitable for a game of Frisbee or touch football. If you want a quiet secluded getaway this is your park.”

“the upper floor of this decrepit building holds a secret, the nyc trash museum. curated by a hoarder (how cruel it must be to be a hoarder working for the department of sanitation), there's rows upon rows of strange finds, arranged thematically. you have the obligatory creepy dolls section, but also beer steins, bad art, motivational posters, appliances, and so much more. you could easily imagine this as the backdrop for a MGMT music video.”

“This is a nice park. There are several parking areas, restroom facilities, a skate park, basketball court, and tons of baseball fields. There is also a small section dedicated to Tibbetts Creek with a few interpretive signs. There is definitely great potential for more of a focus on the natural area.”

“Numerous trails and connections to explore and get lost in! ...although if you're not paying attention and/or not familiar with the area, you might *actually* get a little lost:) You won't stray off a trail unless you really try, however you might end up making more circles, or cutting off a section you wanted to do, simply for the lack of clear signage in a couple spots. There definitely are some crossings that have signs, but it might be time to comb through the park and add/update. Kind of a bummer that folks can't enjoy being on the water (no trespassing signs and fencing all around), but it's still beautiful! Plenty of natural (unpaved) trails to walk or run, but beware of mosquitoes in the summer- you've been warned! Additionally, the park is adjacent to the paved hike & bike trail, so that is an option as well.”

“Nice, very clean campground except the showers. The water isn't very hot. Not being able to connect to water was an inconvenience too but we knew that going in, it was going to be tough. We thought we'd just shower at the bathhouse it would be fine for a few days but the showers luke warm and pretty miserable. That's why I only gave 4 stars. Other than that I'd say great little park to stay in. The beach area is nice. And the play grounds everywhere throughout the park are a nice addition. There are plenty of picnic tables and several covered pavilions to have gatherings or birthday parties overlooking the water which is nice. The water is very clear for a lake. My dogs loved the water. Over all very clean park. Plus for being close to groceries and restaurants.”

“This is my favorite place to go for a walk with the dog. Always a good time for all. Offleash dogs aloud on the west lake if they are under control, well socialized and don't bother the wildlife. Oh, and pick up after your dog.”

“Small park but very beautiful park. This beach park is bit hidden inside private residential area. During summers kids can have fun in water and they do provide life jacket and life guard facility. Parking is decent size. Small Playground and sand area for kids to play with sand tools. There is also one picnic area and can have private party with friends and family.”

“As a new resident I am ecstatic to find this massive dog park for my high energy German Shepherd. She had a great time running, swimming and playing with the other dogs. The hiking trails are great for dogs and humans alike. The $11 one time fee is a great value for everything offered. I will be back and most likely be getting the annual pass.”
