“Ft. Clinch is a great place to relax. I've camped here before and that sites and facilities were great. It's just really hard to book. Exploring the fort is always kind of cool and we've found many shark's teeth on the beach. They have a great shaded playground near the fort entrance. They have some nice biking and hiking trails. The biking trails have hills (which is a super rare find in North East Florida). The beach isn't great for swimming but Fernandina main beach is just outside the park and offers some great options for restaurants, putt putt, and skate park. Such a beautiful park.”

Baby swings are kind of higher than I would have liked. 6 year old nephew wedged himself in baby swing whilst we were tending other kids, was a pain to unwedge him. “We were 100% satisfied with this wedding venue and our experience working with Krystal. The venue itself was beautiful with green trees and wild flowers. There was plenty of outdoor access (we rented tent for part of this space), a restored chapel onsite for ceremony, and an indoor venue hall for our reception. We even rented out the cabins and ranger house nearby to allow us to spend more time over the weekend with our wedding party and guests. We loved that we were able to rent out it out for the whole weekend--allows you to wait until the day after to clean-up if desired. We enjoyed the freedom of having the venue all to ourselves even if that meant we had to set-up and take-down on our own. Overall, we had SO many compliments on our venue and were very happy with choosing Glacier Hills!”

There is a great local market that happens on weekends that you can easily get to. Definitely bring bikes to cruise around on! And the people at the kayak rental are awesome and do tours!”
