“If your kids love the Old McDonald farm song, they will love this farm. Has all animals a barnyard would do. It's a nice park with swings, lawn space, clean restrooms.”

“The Huntington Garden is a gorgeous escape from the city. You could spend an entire day here, and still not see the entire grounds. The Rose Garden is stunning. The succulent section is truly spectacular. But my favorite are the Asian gardens. A perfect way to spend a day. A Los Angeles Treasure. So... worth the visit! Plenty of gardens to walk through including. Tea garden, Japanese and Chinese garden, rose garden (favorite), herb garden, and desert garden etc. Bring really good walking shoes and a hat! I saw many people just reading or doing yoga on the lawn because it’s the most peaceful place ever! Also, not too crowded because they have a max capacity.”

“Randy delivered my beautiful orchid. It was snowy and he couldn’t get up the driveway. Randy brought the flowers up to the porch where I was starting to shovel. It was my birthday so he finished the shoveling and salted the walkway. What a stellar guy that delivered a beautiful plant. We’ll done!!”

“We recently chose Bur-Mil Clubhouse as the venue for our company Thanksgiving lunch. Sydney was great to work with from start to finish. Very accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. The Lake Room was the perfect space for our large group. Highly recommended!”

“Came for the mountain bike trail and was disappointed. It's a very short trail with debris all over the place. It's not marked, so there is no safe way to ride without risking running into someone else. It is a very easy course, but the debris could be a problem for beginners. In need of a good mountain bike club to fix this place up! I gave a higher rating because it does have restrooms, skate park, playground, exercise area, and nice paved bike trails.”

“Fort Woof Dog Park is set in beautiful Gateway Park, a large, expansive multiuse city park. This dog park is huge, five acres divided about 2/3 for large dogs and about 1/3 for small dogs. There were at least 20 dogs and their humans when I was there. It’s a really nice dog park with equipment for dog training. Most of the water was shut off for the winter season. I believe there was a functioning water faucet outside the dog gate. Just to be safe, I learned to bring a water bowl and a gallon of water per dog. The grass is pretty much worn down and worn out in places, so plan to go when it hasn’t rained for the past week or so. Dogs know how to find any mud and get it all inside the car on the way home. There are portable toilets in the parking area and they are doing a great job with odor control.”

“Probably the best place to hike near Silverdale, Bremerton, or Port Orchard. A person feels like they are in a state park. Great signage and tons of trails to see! Update: trail logged in 2020, not very nice now. Board overseeing park says in statement that it will be decades before users see improvement from destruction. For video see YouTube channel "Explore Your World Today".”

“Bring a folding chair with a UVA/UVB umbrella because the pavilion might be taken by a party or others. The two benches with umbrellas are facing the playground areas. Overall, we loved it. The fence surrounding the perimeter is awesome! Big bathroom areas. I recommend this place and will definitely go again.”

“Highly recommend this campground! Very cozy. Has water available and basic bathroom. Drive in campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. It gets windy out so prepare if you plan on using a tent. The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is right along the property. It seems to be a very popular trail.”

“Large enough for small motor boats and paddle boarding. We rented a house on the lake so getting our boards on the water wasn't a problem. I'm sure there are areas where it's easy access for others.”

“A generally nice park. Has a good-size playground, a full basketball court, a baseball field, several tennis courts and several soccer fields. The downsides: parking is difficult since the park borders private houses to the east and roads to the south and west. The parking lot of the Church to the north of the park can be used, but all of the major fields/courts/facilities are towards south. It's also a little dangerous for small kids to run around so close to roads. Also the basketball court is very busy and usually occupied by teenagers from other cities.”

“This is my favorite place in the world. The people that run it would give you the shirt off their backs if you needed them. The locals that live/camp there season round are all very friendly families. Well kept clean campground. Family and kid friendly. Fishing. Primitive camping with and without electric. Plenty of RV camping. The local store does little pot lucks on Saturdays. Once a month they usually do a special event. Showers and bathrooms. Very clean, hot water. Pretty nice. My home away from home. Love this place, love the people, love the area, love the KY river.”
Address: 3150 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33021, USA
“The park itself is clean and quiet during the weekdays. As for fishing the place is fished out now, years ago when I came when I was a kid, there were tons of fish. Not the case anymore. Good times anyway.”
