“Everytime I go to this park is so nice and calm. It's on the small side but always so quiet and peaceful, even on Sunday when people don't have work. Mostly people walking their dogs. It's also in a quiet neighborhood just a few cars here and there. There's a playground for kids, on the small side as well but still nice.”

Not only do you get excellent advice on beautiful, native plants but you can also enjoy a stroll around the property taking in ideas for landscaping with native plants or just enjoying the birds :) On our most recent visit, we also go some of the homemade soaps which I was going to use as gifts but then tried one out and have to keep them all - they feel so nice and make the bathroom smell so good!”

“Always a good time whenever we visit. Covered picnic table pavilion (though the trees provide a lot of shade on their own), a water fountain that works, play structure, swings, and a wobble-totter which looks like a teeter-totter, but is more safe. Not gated, but set sufficiently back from the road that runners can be intercepted. No toilets.”

“We visited for the first time as a family today! It was a fabulous experience! We started with brunch for the whole family then moved outside for a few hours of shooting. The staff that we were exposed to today were all super friendly and welcoming and the grounds are well maintained. From the delicious food to the dogs who come and say hello in the bar, we loved it all and signed up for a membership. This will be our new go to location when family and friends visit and where we do our shooting!”

“This is truly one of the best parks around. The lake is great to fish in, to hang out by and to walk around. The playground is great for little ones and for bigger kids. The library is right there too. This is a great one stop place for a family to spend the day. Also a great way to cool off on these hot days. “Just around the corner from the duck pond, the pool has 2 lap lanes permanently set, while offering the additional space for family recreation. For entertaining the kids, they have set up a sprayer that casts water out about 1/3 of the way(wide) into the pool, creating a heavy rain-like effect.. There is also a 13 foot deep diving board area that teens and adults seem to enjoy. For the very little ones, there is a shallow pool of swirling water that looks fun. The playscape area, while not huge, is decent and offers visitors of the duck pond some additional activities that their kids might enjoy compared to the playground there.”

“Took my granddaughter so we could walk. The bird watching path has a few rather steep hills. Since it had rained a few days before our visit, we opted to skip those and just walk around the small lake twice. Very pleasant, peaceful and quiet.”
