Merry Macs Campground

Address: E12995 Halweg Rd, Merrimac, WI 53561, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“We stayed at the campground couple of times this summer. We really like it here. Sides are in small side and not much privacy but fun. Our kids didn't want to play in the pond b/c they saw bugs/warms 😬 but the place looks like so much fun, and I just wished our kids would ignore the bugs and enjoyed inflatables like other kids do. Weekend music was so much fun. Not sure why people are upset about the band playing passed 11pm - relax people and enjoy the fun! You can always get your rest at home. It's hard to please everyone. Wish they didn't charge extra for the wristbands since camping spots are on the pricey side already. Pool is super nice. Bathrooms are clean and neat. We will be back for sure!”

Huffman Park

Address: 2100 John Gray Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“Nice little park, well kept. Good for a picnic lunch. There are a few little things for kids to play on, but it's not the kind of place you take the kids to just to play. There are nice paths for walking or biking. It could use a few more benches, especially in places that are shady in the afternoon, as the benches are in the sunlight, and sometimes you need to rest on the way back up the hill.”

“Great use of other wise wasted space. It's a nice little park on the water. Once you get in it and start looking around. There are interesting facts about Hampton. So you can hanout in a park by the water and learn some local history. That pretty awesome if you ask me.”

Gilleland Creek Pool and Park

Address: 700 N Railroad Ave, Pflugerville, TX 78660, USA

Park

“We love this pool, there is a really large section where even little kids can walk around and play without having to worry about them going under. But then there is plenty of room to explore and swim if you don't want to stay in the shallow end. Only $3 if you are a Pflugerville resident, $2 for kids.”

Quiet Hollow Park

Address: 12469 McKelvey Rd, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, USA

“Great outdoor park to work out in. Seems to be well maintained too.”

Anacostia Park Roller Skating Pavillion

Address: 1500 Anacostia Dr, Washington, DC 20020, USA

Park

“I love that there is an outdoor and free skate rink to practice without judgment. People have only ever been kind and provide great advice and experience. Especially on the weekends, someone usually brings a speaker and plays some skating music you can really feel and move to. Multiple skate parties happen from time to time. Parking is ample. Only complaint is it’s part of a National park and unfortunately is maintained like one. Only ever see fellow skaters taking care of and cleaning the place.”

Route 66 State Park

Address: 1628, 97 N Outer Rd, Eureka, MO 63025, USA

Park

“I'm all about the visitors center at each park. I try to visit a new park every month and I always go to the visitors center first. It can make or break my hikes. Route 66 did not disappoint. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and a great little "Route 66" exhibit. There are also some interesting Times Beach, MO items. Another gem in the MO state parks system. The trails are not particularly great for hiking, but it's still a nice park and is great for a walk/jog with friends. Biking or Rollerblading out here is great too.”

Rehl Gardens

Address: 68 Walnut St, Natick, MA 01760, USA

Park

“Rehl Gardens professionals work with you to design your garden beds and landscapes professionally. They ask for your preferences (colors of flowers, plant or shrub types, cutting garden etc.) and work with you to find the flora that will thrive in your particular landscape with the hours of sunlight available, the amount of water drainage available or not, etc. They helped us identify trees that we did not need and that were blocking sunlight needed for growth of the garden beds. Rehl Gardens provided us with beautifully landscaped perennial garden beds, and trees integrated into our landscape. Rehl Gardens referred us to a colleague who installed a drip irrigation system for our lawn and garden beds. We met with Rehl Gardens professionals to discuss any major changes we wished to make in the landscaping plans. The professionals at Rehl Gardens can be counted on for their consistently high professional standards.”

“Nice quite shaded park. The play ground is good for all ages but really geared for 3-6 year olds. They have public restrooms and plenty of shaded picnic tables. There are nice granite walking trails around the park. The trails are approximately 1 mile long with options to cut the walk shorter. About 60-70% of the trail is shaded.”
