Horizon Mesa Park

Address: 14301 Desert Shadow Dr, Horizon City, TX 79928, USA

Park

“Ever since I discovered this park, I always bring my children to it now. The city keeps it clean and in the evening around 5:00 p.m. the park is filled with so many people. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, it's actually a great thing because children can connect and play with each other, parents can meet other parents, people playing in the field playing soccer, or football, or softball. I highly recommend this park for anyone who would like to take their children somewhere new. Lastly, the neighborhood around the park is mostly quiet, sometimes you do have people who like to show off with their ATV, or dirt bikes.”

Oak Tree South Park

Address: 2881 Oak Tree Ave, Norman, OK 73072, USA

Park

“Very nicely kept small park. It has small playground and benches. A sidewalk runs along the street and another sidewalk winds along the back of the park. On the north side is a skatepark. This park does have some minor problems. No parking is available. The use I think is for numerous apartments within walking distance. The playground is I think too close to the street and behind the park is a train track. When the train passes it can be loud. Overall this park is good.”

Willow Stream Park

Address: 651 Old Checker Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089, USA

“A nice park that caters to the need of all ages! There is a toddler and big kids play area, a basketball court, baseball fields, area to play soccer, sand volleyball area and bike tracks. The trails are long enough for a nice evening walk and there are picnic shelters and restrooms as well. I love listening to the summer concerts they have and watching the fireworks for the 4th of July. On the other side there is a pool, tennis court and disc golf hole.”

“Cute quaint little park. You can usually find kids in the hockey rink at night as well as volleyball and basketball courts. Cranbrook House & Gardens

Address: 380 Lone Pine Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304, USA

Park

“If one has any interest in historical homes (or in this case a manor house) this is a fine home to tour. The tour only includes what would have been public areas of the first floor (no kitchens, bedrooms, etc). The architecture is not extraordinary but it is interesting and the interiors are extraordinary. The Booths were supporters of fine craft workers and artisans and the interior appointments demonstrate as much. Some of the detail work, such as above the fireplace in the library, is truly exceptional and makes a visit from a keen-eyed observer well worth the time. The gardens appear beautifully laid out, but we visited in the snow and did not walk through the garden areas. I would commend them to visitors based solely on the visual appeal of their design.”

Cheesequake State Park Trailhead

Address: 287 State Park Rd, Matawan, NJ 07747, USA

Park

“We walked on yellow trail, which is about 1.2 miles moderate traffic and about 60 ft elevation. My 5 years old has no issue to walk this trail, good for kids and families.”
