“I saw another physical therapist twice a week for 11 months with no improvement. Within 10 minutes of my first visit Wendy was able to diagnose what she suspected to be the problem. She then did her testing and analysis and found the actual cause of the inability of me to bring my left arm up and overhead. Within 6 sessions I was able to get my arm overhead! Now she is working on my posture and strength so I can stand upright correctly. That is the root problem. I have a pinched nerve in my cervical spine and it prevents me from being able to bring my arm overhead. It was not my shoulder at all. The previous physical therapist would stretch my arm and shoulder, and send me home with a few exercises that accomplished nothing. Wendy uses a laser light mechanism that she designed. It helps my brain to focus, recognize and find the right muscle that I should be using to accomplish a specific movement. It is incredible! I have experienced improvement every single visit. I have more clarity as to the root of the problem and a solution/goal. I receive a detailed description and video of my at-home exercises each visit so we are working together as a team. I really thought I would never get use of my left arm again after being told by my previous physical therapist that there was nothing else that can be done except maybe surgery. I am so grateful that I didn’t give up and that I called Wendy. She changed my life.”
