“The Alexander is great place to live and I’m hoping to continue living here for as long as possible. There are some disappointments though. When I lived here between 2016 and 2017 there was no charge for parking. Now there is a $65 parking fee but nothing has changed in the parking lot. There is no added security or assigned parking. I moved back here in 2021 and I just started my 3rd lease in a row. With the new lease they included managed wifi. After days of troubleshooting, I arranged for Spectrum to come out and figure out why the wifi had connectivity issues. The device was installed months ago and had to be reconfigured before I could connect anything to it. I was connected to the neighbors’ wifi. The Alexander is charging $80 per month included in the lease for wifi vs the $50 I was paying before. But not only they didn’t inform me that I would not be able to connect anything to the wifi until Spectrum reconfigured the new device but they also ignored my work order to send help and the 2 emails I sent asking for help. And lastly, months ago I informed them a few times about an issue with one of the glass entrance doors but it’s still not fixed.”

“Lori was truly exceptional! I live in MI, and when my uncle passed away in NJ, I asked Lori if she could help sell the house. Since she lives in KY and therefore wasn’t licensed in NJ, she set out to search for a trustworthy realtor for me. She took the time to interview agents in New Jersey until she found one that she thought I would be comfortable working with, and she definitely found a great agent for me. Although I was working with the agent in NJ, I did call Lori several times to ask her opinion and answer questions for me when I was confused about the process. I was impressed with her level of knowledge and patience in the process, which was a bit complicated in another state. We ended up selling the house for above the asking price, which was pretty awesome! When I later considered selling my own property in MI, of course I again asked Lori if she could just sell my property for me, but again she had to find another realtor here in MI. It really would be helpful if realtors could just be licensed all over, because she’s the one I’d most prefer to work with! However, when I’ve had to use someone else, she’s been excellent with her referrals. I would definitely recommend Lori for your buying and selling needs, and if you need a referral, she doesn’t just spout off a name and number she found in a directory. She actually takes the time to contact them and talk to them to make sure they are a perfect fit for you. The realtor she found for me in NJ was very supportive of the fact that I was overwhelmed and had just lost a family member. It was exactly what I needed being out there all by myself. I think I texted and called Lori a few times when I was out there, and she was always there to answer any questions and reassure me that things were going as they were supposed to. “I can't say enough good things about James Beck at Centum Oak Realty. I'm a new doc and first-time home buyer, moving to Bastrop from 2500 miles during COVID.
