“This place should have 10 stars truly! Why they only have 3 stars is beyond me. Because let me tell you, I have never encountered such wonderful, kind, and absolutely amazing staff in my entire life! I made arrangements way back in March to have my dogs boarded for Memorial Day while we took a family vacation. (Animal Ark) I specifically asked them at the time I made reservations what vaccinations my dogs (3 dogs) would need. I was told specifically a rabies vaccine only. So I went and had that taken care of way back in mid April. So I showed up today to (Animal Ark) to drop my dogs off. I was told they needed two other shots before they could be boarded there. Was basically called a liar to my face and that they would never tell my anything like that. They closed at 4, it is a Sunday holiday weekend on top of it. I had 3 hours to try to find someone who would give my dogs these shots or my whole non refundable vacation would be going up in smoke! I called like 20 vets and no one could get us in. I was ready to give up. Then the very last call I made which was to TLC Pet Care Center on Hamilton Ave. Not only did they get us in, but they stayed open and waited for us when they had just closed for the day. The staff was so kind, understanding, and accommodating! I found out they also offer pet boarding and I would have just went ahead and boarded my dogs with them had I known prior and hadn’t already made arrangements somewhere else. I truly can not say enough kind and wonderful things about this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Our cat had not been eating very well, and my vet of many years was unable to work us in until the following week, but he needed to be seen. Monroe Family Pet Hospital gave me the option to be an add on the same day I called if I was willing to wait in my car for when they could work me in. They told me I may need to wait for awhile, but were very willing to make it happen if I could be flexible. From Monday through Friday during the course of his treatment and surgery, every aspect of their service was professional, caring and consistent. Dr. Reed was the main doctor that followed his care. She is a rock star! I highly recommend this facility! Excellence!”

“A friend and I went to this location on a Wednesday evening I believe the last Wednesday or first Wednesday of the month. It was late in the evening, close to 9 or 10pm. The place was not crowded. Nice chill atmosphere. Our waitress was nice friendly and warm. Our food look delicious, smelled and tasted fine, however the meal did NOT sit well with mine or my guests stomach. We both ordered and chicken dish and however it was cooked left me sick with stomach cramps and pains for two days. Not sure if I'd go back.”

“I've taken my pets to The Colony Animal Clinic since I can remember and they've all seen Dr. Holt. Since he's retired, I've seen Dr. Vera and she is very caring. I've had 3 cats and 1 dog and they've had diabetes, cancer and allergies. When we've had to put them to sleep, the staff has been very compassionate and caring. The staff is always courteous and helpful when you call them on the phone. We currently have 1 cat and will continue to use the clinic.”

“Great Vets! My son found a kitten without a tail. This kitten only had a hole where the tail was supposed to have been an animal of some type had eaten the tail off. We took the kitten to the vet on a Thursday she didn't look like she was going to live. The vet there was so concerned they did everything they could to keep her alive. They removed over a thousand maggots and kept her in the hospital over the weekend. Monday afternoon they called to inform me that we could pick her up. They saved her life and send her back with medication. (This bill was inexpensive.) She is healthy & doing extremely well and we decided to keep her and name her amazing Grace!❤️”

“Dr. Crosby is one of the best equine vets in the state of Oklahoma, with an incredible heart for his patients, both human and equine. We are the owners of the Oklahoma Donkey Dairy, and finding a vet who understands equines and also the complexity of milking them was a huge challenge for us. When one of our beloved Mammoth Donkeys had a critical colic episode just weeks before her baby was due, Dr. Crosby came to our farm and did everything he could to save her and her unborn baby. Not only that, but he was willing to step off a plane at 1:00 am, and come straight to our farm if the situation had worsened. He also gelded our mammoth jack for us, and did an incredible job. (Gelding donkeys is much more difficult than gelding horses...they can easily bleed to death if not done correctly.) He did the job the right way, and our boy is doing great! Oh, and he doesn't just use the most expensive medication on the market, he's constantly looking for ways to save his customers money. Selfless. Dedicated. And willing to do whatever it takes. P.S. I searched for this website to get an address to send a thank you gift, not that it can even begin to express all we owe him and his team...when I saw the nasty review below, I had to share. That training she mentioned? Dr. Crosby gives his time training students who want to be veterinarians, it's an incredible opportunity for kids to learn how to actually BE veterinarians, from one of the best vets in practice. Oh, and he didn't vaccinate any of our animals without our permission. ;)”
