“6:00 at night, dog has diarrhea and is vomiting, panting, no fever, and no clue why she is sick. Regular vet office was closed but they recommended PPES. We called first, told them we were coming. Took her to the PPES, got an IV in her, gave us meds to give her, made sure we knew to set up another appointment with our vet. Gave us some good options for her care. Yes, we had to wait because there were others who were ahead of us with pets who were probably as sick or sicker. We do the same in a regular people hospital. They're being cautions due to COVID, wear a mask. You sit in your car, not in a waiting room due to COVID. They told us what would happen and how it would happen, brought the papers to the car, etc. They kept in touch with us via cell phone. For the care she received, the price was very reasonable. Great Staff and Vet, kept us well informed. Thanks to you all and yes, we have our follow-up vet appointment made for this Thursday.”

“We have taken our cats here for years and won't go anywhere else. I've worked with several excellent doctors with no complaints. I'm so appreciative to have the opportunity to see Dr. Li, as he offers alternative medicine as an option for treatment. Our senior was at the end of his life, in pain, and Dr. Li provided acupuncture to help relieve that pain. He also offers Chinese herb treatment, and I am incredibly grateful for this! Our male cat developed a large bladder stone which can cause terrible pain and even death if not treated. A stone of his size typically requires surgery. Dr. Li understood our concerns regarding surgery (cat's age and the excessive cost) so prescribed an herb. After only a few days our cat was back to his old self, and after one month x-rays showed the stone had completely dissolved! Such a blessing for us and our kitty. We always request Dr. Li, as he communicates to us keeping us updated even when our kitty has to stay overnight, as well as simply following up to see how our babies are doing after their visit with him. He makes you feel like your pet is the only pet he is treating, even though the clinic itself is very busy. It is rare to have the option to use alternative medicine and I'm so happy it is offered here to avoid risky procedures and to alleviate their pain and suffering. Highly recommend, even if the wait is long it is worth it!”

Dr. Rubinstein is the first exotic veterinarian that I have had the pleasure of meeting that has taken the time to get to know me and my pets and explains anything he observes and does. He is kind, caring, and punctual and treats me and my pets with respect always. He does many things free of charge, which means so much to me as a current college student. I called my vet and they said they could not get me in until the next day and recommended if I wanted immediate care to go to the emergency (who fleece people and their pets who are in need). I called around to try to get him in ASAP to avoid any infection. The people here at golf mill veterinary hospital got me in within hours and took care of my old pup!
