I have been here several times, and have had fairly consistent service, but recommend checking with your primary vet first as they know your pet best. Parking can be iffy at times, but it's South Philly and is what is to be expected.”

“If you ever watched old TV westerns, there was this great place in every town called a general store. They carried everything you possibly could need if you lived in a small town or out on a farm. Tractor Supply Company is the old-time General Store on steroids, and I mean that in a great way. If you need to put fence posts up on your hundred acre farm, they have what you need. If you need to kill some of the weeds around the sidewalk in your front lawn, they have what you need. Own a horse - yep, they have what you need. This trip, I just needed to take care of a rodent problem, and they had what I needed. They had loads of options for what I needed. And in a wonderful change from a lot of stores, the staff isn't there to sell you stuff, they're there to help you. Throw in the sections that have clothes, or toys, or some really different and unique home and yard decor, they've got that stuff too.”

If you are having a derm problem with your pet(or if you have a bulldog☺) you should just go see them and get it taken care of! Otherwise, you are just spinning your wheels! You see a dentist for your teeth and your pet should see a board certified dermatologist for their skin! Especially such a great one!”

“My dog won't walk in any other animal hospital but Andover. The staff and technicians are all very friendly and helpful. The doctors do not have you do unnecessary tests. They are always available to discuss any concerns you may have. The doctors have always called me back if ever an issue with my dog. They are one of the few animal hospitals open past six o'clock and on Sundays. Dr. Wadsworth had helped me when I first got my dog from the foster. Another animal hospital had made me pay $400 on an x-ray saying my dog had start of pneumonia. Thank goodness for Dr. Wandsworth she advised me after looking at the x-rays that was not the truth. Saved my dog from antibiotics he did not need. In all the staff and doctors are the best around!”
