“Pro: friendly, unique, historical, beautiful property, kid friendly. Movie night at the pool was cool, yard games are fun Con: found a scorpion in our room (baby almost grabbed it) it took an hour to come up and search room with light. They eventually came up and took care of it. Mosquitos are out..and are us up. Bring bug spray! Spa massage= unimpressed. I've gotten WAY better service at massage envy for 1/3 of the price. Food is expensive! We traveled out of the resort to eat. Brought our own bottled water and sodas and snacks.”

“We made reservations for morning brunch on the patio. This was our first visit. The table and service were both excellent. We were worried at first about sitting outside due to the warm weather. However, trees provided great shade and the trickling water fountain added the feeling of relaxation.The food couldn't have been more perfect. We truly enjoyed our expirience.”

“We love staying at The Legacy Golf Resort! It is one of our favorite places. It's very peaceful and relaxing. The resort is spread out over several buildings on the property, so it is NOT a high rise. That is one of the reasons we like it. It also has a 2 person jacuzzi in the 1 bedroom option.”

The house is so warm, inviting and fun! we took turns with our massages and got to hang out on the back patio while we waited. “Mel was great handling a recent nightmare stay at the Regency Inn, in Columbia SC...please don’t let them book you at this place online...it is a health hazard...honestly...and though the owner could care less, Mel stepped up and issued a credit for more than I actually paid... after they saw the photos... I hope they remove this property from their roster to keep this from happening again, because it will if they direct people there..!!!”

“The only caution I can give before entering or deciding to live here is that the speed bumps are taller than the average. My main recommendation is to drive slower over them because sometimes you'll hear a heavy drop or bump if you drive too fast. Other than that, it's not a bad area.”
