“I was helped by the NICEST person I have met in a long while! Not just a nice mechanic, or store rep, but a nice human. Aaron was quick and efficient with helping me identify the best battery AND he helped replace it for me. On top of that? He even helped me install my brake lights. I didn't purchase them from his shop, but he still helped. My favorite part of the service was that he was open to explaining to me what was being done--teach a man to fish, they say. And I ain't even religious like that! I'd recommend everyone I know to come here, because the service was more than worth it. He did pause helping me to help another customer, and he showed them the same care and patience. I didn't mind waiting because Aaron was a full-service kind of guy. Also lovely how he knew the regulars, and the neighbors driving by. He was warm and friendly to 'em all! The exchange we had was quick but effective and left me with good energy to pay forward.”

“One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was choosing to do a home birth with Ellen. Going to the doctor felt a bit like being on a conveyer belt but Ellen was so different. She was so supportive every step of the way but also really informative. When choices needed to be made she always explained all options, gave me time to do my own research and never judged any decisions that I made. The night/morning of my labor and delivery I couldn’t have asked for more. She was very supportive to my husband so that he could help care for me. She kept me informed of the process each step of the way. After my daughter was born she stayed with us to answer questions, and provide support. Her postpartum care was wonderful-she was available for questions via phone outside of appointments and continued to provide us with support, education and resources. Most importantly the connection I felt with Ellen was amazing and very nurturing. She is exactly the person I wanted taking care of me during such an intense and intimate time.”

“I strongly -- without any reservation -- recommend Pathways as a hospice provider. My family's experience with Pathways was excellent in every way. The staff was caring and attentive. Their visits to my mother were frequent, and we were grateful for the regular and comprehensive updates they provided. When my mother entered the final stages of her life, Pathways sent "vigil" volunteers to sit with my mother when family couldn't be there. They read to her, played music (even sang) and listened to her talk about her life. They made her life better. After my mother's death (February 2019) Pathways contacted us several times to offer individual counseling, support groups and other assistance as we grieve. Before we chose Pathways we had a truly horrible experience using a major organization's hospice "care." The comparison between the two made it clear exactly how good Pathways is. I recommend that everyone -- as we did with Pathways -- have an extensive conversation about expectations, specific services to be provided, medication, etc. Clarifying details gives you a metric for judging the level of care delivered. Pathways met and exceeded our expectations.”
