“I have been going to Dr. Northrop for about 20 years. I have had mostly knee problems, torn ACL and several ankle sprains do to sports injuries. Recently I had a C6/7 herniation and he saw me with 1 day notice and had x-rays and an MRI done the same day. His attention to detail is bar none. “Great haircut, very cheap. I normally get my haircuts in Los Angeles (Silver Lake), but they're at least $20 and not always great. This place has an obvious Christian bent to it, which means they care. Throughout my haircut the lady cutting my hair (I forget her name...) was asking me for feedback about how good the length was. She even said I was handsome when it was done :-). It took a little longer than I had hoped (around 45 minutes), but the quality was great.”

“The customer service at the Paseo Colorado store in Pasadena was pretty decent. Not the best, but better than what one would usually get at a hip/young millennial-genZ clothing store. I LOVE H&Ms clothing recycle campaign. You get 15% off your entire store purchase if you show up with your old clothes to recycle. The clothes don't need to be H&M clothes either. It's a fantastic gimmick! It's the main reason why I finally bought something from H&M. Before today, I'd never shopped at H&M. I got some pretty good finds at a very low cost. Gotta love fast fashion! Not sure how long they'll last me, but I'm sure that the clothes recycle service will bring me back for more! Check out my haul!”

“Nice little restaurant. French onion soup was excellent, think it had some wine in it, very tasty. The crudo was very light and really tasty with the orange. I had the halibut which was excellent and she had the lamb. The halibut had a great sauce. Only real complaint was the halibut and lamb got a little dry at the end, both could have used more sauce. For desert get the mousse, outstanding and plenty of it plus fresh cream..”

“I have had many concussions throughout my life and the last most serious one due to a car accident that laid me up for a month. The last 17 years since the head trauma I have not felt very "Sharp." I used the unlimited version of the training program for a month. I did 30 sessions in all and noticed significant improvement in my ability to focus, sleep, get things done and be less anxious. For instance, as I was preparing for the start of a new school year I experienced no anxiety about the approaching demands nor about meeting new students and parents. That was a first in my 20 plus years as an educator. It has been over a month without the training and I still am doing well with focus and ability to get things done. “Professional. Timely. Conscientious. Responsive. Detailed oriented. Knowledgeable. Proactive. Trust worthy. Skilled. Thorough. These are just a few of the words I use to describe J&J Roofing and my experience working with them. After interviewing 12 roofing contractors, contacting references and looking at past work, I evaluated them along with the assistance of an architect and general construction contractor. We agreed J&J Roofing was the most qualified, had the most detail in their proposal and was the most responsive to additional questions. I live in a 1930s Spanish revival home and wanted a new roof that reflected the original architecture and historical significance of our home as well as resolving the old-roof-problems. J&J understood my goals for the new roof and provided solutions that surpassed my expectations. They removed all of the current tiles, cleaned and preserved the ones that were still usable, and reset them interspersed with new tile so that the new roof still has old world charm. This was exactly the look I wanted. And best of all, when it rained recently, the roof performed perfectly. No more leaks! I made one change during the project and they seamlessly incorporated the change into the project without missing a beat. The crew showed up on time every day, answered questions and did a marvelous job of cleaning the job site such that I felt entirely confident letting the kids and dogs go into the yard without risk of injury. With many of my neighbors working from home these days, there were a lot of eyes on the project. Daily, neighbors would come by to comment on the steady progress of the project, how impressed they were with the job the crew was doing, the attention to detail and how much they appreciated the clean up afterwards. They told me one horror story after another of horrible experiences with other contractors and just how impressed they were with J&J. I had access to and the attention of the whole J&J team including the company president, project manager, on-site supervisor, account manager, and quality control supervisor. Each of them contributed to making it feel like I was the most important customer they had. They went above and beyond anticipating and resolving issues and took the initiative to get it all done on time and on budget. They truly represented the best of customer service and professionalism. I’ve never written an online review and I only rarely offer a recommendation unless I’ve thoroughly vetted that person or company. I can highly recommend J&J and have given their business card to neighbors, real estate agents, architects and general contractors. I would endorse J&J Roofing to anyone considering a roofing project.”
