“Beautiful camp ground about a mile south of newcombs ranch. On site bathrooms and water. Fires are allowed in fire pits. Winds got a little out of hand when we were up there, but outside of that. Awesome camp ground. Only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because the ground is full of solid rocks just under the surface dirt. Making it hard to drive spikes for a tent.”

“Arrived and was horrified. The neighborhood seemed really sketchy. However I went ahead and checked in. The room was tiny however comfortable and free of any bugs. Just a bed, a mini fridge along with a small table. No microwave or coffee maker. AC worked well. Somewhat recently updated. The other guests were from all over the world and super cool. Mostly a younger crowd on a budget. There is a $150 deposit that you will get back as long as there are no damages. I did get mine back like 4 days later. If you're just looking for a place to crash on a budget, this is the place. Just don't expect lobster on a tuna budget. Somewhat central to attractions.”

“There is no cellphone coverage in this area so you need to be prepared in terms of finding the location (working with offline GPS) and also keep in mind you can not call or text anymore. It's a beautiful, peaceful, clean and not crowded picnic area located near the campground and the visitors center, there is a convenient and free parking lot. Near each picnic area water and fire pit. Takes almost one hour drive from Sunland-Tujunga.”

“A good place to stay if in the area. Very convenient location with shopping and food all around. Easy access to highway. The staff was friendly and polite. Loved the no maid service unless requested. Room was quiet and spacious. AC had some difficulty keeping it cool to our liking but was under 65 degrees. Bed comfort was okay but no blankets.”
