Address: W 11th St, Upland, CA 91786, USA

Park Post office

“It's a great park with plenty of room for the dogs to play and tables for people to sit at. There's a water station. The fence is shorter than most dog parks so just make sure your dog is not a jumper. There are no lights at all though, so I wouldn't suggest going at night. The only lights are across the way at the school but that doesn't light up the dog park at all.”

Castle Rock Trail 1W03

Address: Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Park

“Parking and the lack of a crosswalk are the hardest things about the trail. crossing the highway is a little like playing Russian roulette as some of the cars travel quite fast with a difficult turn to see around . About the hike itself: the initial assent is difficult with some nice views of Big Bear lake. However the real pleasure is not going to Castle Rock but beyond. At the top of the castle rock trail (where it meats one of the 4x4 roads) after a short 1.5 mile hike you get to a pristine meadow and small little protected pond. Beautiful and incredibly relaxing. However it isn't for the faint if heart as the trail is steep in the begining.”

Huck Finn Jubilee

Address: 800 N Archibald Ave, Ontario, CA 91764, USA

“I went to Hick Finn Jubilee last year. The new owners are a young couple passionate about bringing bluegrass music to southern California. On the weekend it is always busy but we still found a table to eat at on a buys Sunday. There is also a nice small playground for kids to play on. I would be careful around the turtles though because they are snapping turtles and have been know to bite people on occasion.”

“Great park. Unfortunately a lot of teams fight for the space and there isn't a defined way for them to reserve it. You could have a field that is rarely used and then suddenly a football field painted and a whole team takes over. Would like some kind of "reservation" process.”

Sellick Park

Address: South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA

Park Home goods store Store

“This is a well-tended, gorgeous establishment with a structure and tons of green grassy space to romp or ride about, ideal for kids! Only one concern is proximity to the highway, which while protected by barbed fence, is a downhill slide, not to mention source of white-noise uncharacteristic of such a beautiful park area.”

Heritage Park

Address: 1905 Orange Ave, Redlands, CA 92373, USA

Park

“This is a nice park to go to for a quick run or walk. It's also great for taking the dogs out to walk and run. The track is perfect for running your dog on, but be careful it's a dirt track and there are a few small potholes. There are also a few tables to sit at if you need to rest.”
