  What an experience truly something to put on your bucket list. The staff makes you feel like you are experiencing the real thing. The island part if the tour was out if this world. You get to go into the area where they control the ship and flight deck really educational. Would highly recommend going there you won't get disappointed

  My son loves history, especially when it involves any of the branches of the military and past wars. We really enjoyed spending our time exploring the USS Midway. We spent at least 3 hours there. The docents were wonderful. Most all of them were veterans. My son had some great conversations with a few of them.

  Great exhibits. I loved the live lectures on the flight deck about taking off and landing. I also really enjoyed the flight simulator. I wish I had more time to listen to all the unguided tour information from the personal speakers that you get to carry around. If you are planning on going on the carrier, make sure you set aside about 5-6 hours to get to see everything during the week. And I'm assuming you may need more time if on the weekend since there will be more people and longer lines.

  Super cool experience! MUST see if you haven't participated in the military or would like to show the appreciation to the park. Very insightful as to how these men and women live and work a board this naval warship. It is truly awe inspiring and motivational to see such amazing equipment from many generations of airplanes and helicopters on the flight deck up close and personal. This was the most amazing thing I did while in San Diego and the staff all very knowledgeable and helpful was a true delight to meet the men and women that served on this icon. Truly amazing I can NOT say this enough A++++++++ for $23.00 a true deal to spend a afternoon.

  We enjoyed this museum so much as a family. Very impressed with a smooth entry, kid friendly design/exhibits, and the amazing docents. There was so much to see that after going 2 half days, we still couldn't see it all. Kids ages 6 and 9 enjoyed it, especially sitting in the cockpits, doing the scavenger hunt, and getting their "wings".
  
  It was way more than we expected and so much fun! Highly recommend, we will be returning when we can!
