Stevens Creek County Park Lakeshore Picnic Area

Great view and scenery.

Lot of shade and it's breezey.. it's bit noisy because of mining.... It's good for a short picnic...

Lots of choice of selecting trail. Most of them shady. Some part is very slippery. Be careful.

Place is OK if you just want to have a picnic and spend time with your friends near picnic table. But if you plan to also take a walk, it is probably not the best place to visit. Picnic area is quite small, there is no easy access to lake - there are few holes in fence that people use to go to water. Parking is OK, there are spots near road and inside the picnic area.

Loved this place! Such a great way to relax and spend the day with your family. Awesome picnic area right in front of the lake, and all the shade is a plus on a hot day. You can grill using propane tanks which they sometimes even prefer. The only reason I didn't rate it's five was because of the dozen geese surrounding our table! They were all staring at us which was pretty scary. they left only when someone brought out a drone. I believe the buzzing noise scared them off to the lake. Besides the fact that you might get some unwanted visitors around your table, it was a very lovely place!
