“Wendy did an excellent job helping me select engineered hardwood flooring and in designing my kitchen. I am quite picky and Wendy was patient with me as I went through various flooring options. When I finally decided on using the Lunaire engineered hardwood by Celeste floors, Wendy made sure the flooring was delivered on time and held the flooring in their warehouse until the contractors were ready to install it. As for kitchen design, Wendy gave 3 to 4 different configurations to choose from and often worked late to incorporate feedback from me. The cabinets were delivered on time as she promised and looked beautiful. The great part about working with Wendy is that she is very supportive even after delivery. During cabinet install, my contractor needed additional cabinet pieces and she worked quickly to make sure it was ordered and delivered in time to get my kitchen finished. I highly recommend Kiland Design because of quality of service I received from Wendy.”

“Such a great experience which is hard to find. Out of all of the furniture we bought for our house the Scandinavian Design couch I bought from Refurnish is my favorite piece. It feels, looks and smells and if it’s brand new but you’re buying at an extreme discount compared to buying a couch new. I’ve had the couch for a few months now and still love it. They professionally cleaned it, refilled the cushions, wrapped it in protection plastic, delivered it my house, helped me set it up and added little pieces on the bottom so that it doesn’t scratch my flooring. This is 100% the way to go when buying a couch: you don’t pay full price on an new couch that instantly loses value when you take it home and your not buying a used couch from someone who hasn’t cleaned it after years of use. Your last paragraph contained a combination of concerns including a) clients isolating, b) “drinking water and going in the bathroom,” c) WiFi, and d) cellular data. Isolation is something we take seriously, as it is an indication of dissociation (not doing well mentally), so we watch for clients starting to pull away and intervene. I am not sure what to say about the drinking water and using the restroom except to let readers know we installed water dispensers and ice makers in both facilities to make sure everyone is staying hydrated in hot summer months and to counteract the diuretic effects of some medications. Your concerns about the WiFi, if the WiFi is not working it is likely due to ComCast, and typically the entire city block is down, not just us. Lastly, cellular data is not something we provide to clients, that is something you would purchase on your own through your cell phone service provider. I hope I have covered all of your concerns, Joe Swanson. I wish you would have come to us so we could explain these matters in person rather than publicly tarnishing the reputation of our family’s 47 years’ caring for people with severe and chronic mental illness. “Excellent beginners hike with STUNNING views of the southern Bay Area. There is ample free parking at the base of the trail. Restrooms and picnic, BBQ areas as well. Park rangers provide good security here. Details regarding the hike and viewpoint follow: It’s approximately 3/4 of a mile uphill with a steep climb. Not too long but you’ll get a great leg workout going up. Once you arrive there is a view point with a looking glass. Plenty of red tailed hawks circling around. Very beautiful area. 1.5 miles round trip and if you want to extend your hike, when you come back down consider taking another one of the adjacent loops nearby. We turned this into a 5 mile hike and great workout. Highly recommended!”
