“Really nice place for a quiet walk around the large pond little bit of bird watching can be done. Great place to see geese. Nice access to the running stream next to the park and good soccer fields for adults and kids. Nice playground for 5 years old and up. Popular dog park.”

“It's a calm dog park, only thing I'm concerned about and not really an issue until it becomes one, Is people who have been there for a bit or go there everyday feel a bit entitled to think they have priority and how the rules are placed upon them instead of everyone. Theres SOME not all owners who are not on top of their dog, the typical let go and right away cell phone or chat with another owner. Theres a click here, if your not part of them you feel like an outsider. For me I'm only there for my pet other than that if you dont mind anything from what I mentioned it's a great place.”

“Need to do a low stakes camp out? Need to do a practice camping run? Have kids who may or may not be able to do a whole trip? Need to be close to a hospital while camping? Spring Lake is a perfect getaway to nature when you need to stay close to home. We did an overnight trip and got the kiddo use to some of the camping traditions (like making a fire!) without worry. It also helped us remember what we need to bring and do better next time. Such a great decision for some low stress camping”

“Small, quiet, lots of shade trees. A playground for the really littles (2-5 years). Lots of dog walkers, dogs often off leash...but that doesn’t bother me.”

“Peaceful and quiet neighborhood and park. Some parts of play structure need work but mostly good. Has 2 play structures with sand; 1 is fenced off. Basketball court, lots grass, walking trail, dinosaur bones in sand. I went on a hot day and it was nice to have at least some shade in all areas for me to sit. Will definitely be going back.”

“Best family park and trails in Sonoma County (and we are blessed to have so many). The hikes up here are just stunningly beautiful all year round, and they're well-maintained and feel safe as well. Whether you have an hour or a day to spare, it's the best.”

“The laguna seems to attract lots of birds, including accidental migrants as well as local "usual suspects". If you're not a birder, the trails are great for walking and/or jogging. But there's not much shade. At some times of the year, the grass can get high along some of the trails, so be careful to do a "tick check" upon exit. A treasure close to the urban centers.”

“Great views of Santa Rosa and the surrounding area. Steep portions on the trails and very little shade. Better pick an overcast cooler day and take lots of water. We really enjoyed the hike and will be back for more. Also a great workout or preparation training for steep longer hiking trails.”

“We were visiting Northern California and spent a day visiting some winery's. This was our first stop, picked at random. We loved it. The lavender was in full bloom, ready to be picked in two weeks. We had a group of 3 and did a wine tasty. It was a mix of some wines some of us really liked, others not as much (like any wine tasting(. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable of the wines. No pressure to join the wine club at all. The have nice picnic areas to bring along a lunch and enjoy a bottle of wine.”
