A Place to Play Dog Park

Address: 2375 West 3 Road Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95401, USA

Park

“It's a calm dog park, only thing I'm concerned about and not really an issue until it becomes one, Is people who have been there for a bit or go there everyday feel a bit entitled to think they have priority and how the rules are placed upon them instead of everyone. Theres SOME not all owners who are not on top of their dog, the typical let go and right away cell phone or chat with another owner. Theres a click here, if your not part of them you feel like an outsider. For me I'm only there for my pet other than that if you dont mind anything from what I mentioned it's a great place.”

“Need to do a low stakes camp out? Need to do a practice camping run? Have kids who may or may not be able to do a whole trip? Need to be close to a hospital while camping? Spring Lake is a perfect getaway to nature when you need to stay close to home. We did an overnight trip and got the kiddo use to some of the camping traditions (like making a fire!) without worry. It also helped us remember what we need to bring and do better next time. Such a great decision for some low stress camping”

Laguna de Santa Rosa Trail

Address: 6303 CA-12, Santa Rosa, CA 95409, USA

“The laguna seems to attract lots of birds, including accidental migrants as well as local "usual suspects". If you're not a birder, the trails are great for walking and/or jogging. But there's not much shade. At some times of the year, the grass can get high along some of the trails, so be careful to do a "tick check" upon exit. A treasure close to the urban centers.”

We had a group of 3 and did a wine tasty. It was a mix of some wines some of us really liked, others not as much (like any wine tasting(. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable of the wines. No pressure to join the wine club at all. The have nice picnic areas to bring along a lunch and enjoy a bottle of wine.”
