“Our daughter began at CSA in a cheer/tumbling class 5 years ago. We chose CSA because it was close to JSerra HS that our eldest son was commuting to, and also because they have a special needs cheer team (we have another son w/special needs). Our son graduated HS, but we stayed at CSA, and drive from Oceanside 3 Times/week because our daughter has made friends at CSA, the coaches are great: inspirational, motivational, and believe in the athletes, and because the owners and coaches instill values and lessons into the girls.”

“Best gym for women. It was created by an amazing gentlemen, who knew what women need. This gym is worth a visit. Try to get a free day pass to workout, so worth it. The gym is always being cleaned by the staff. Nice showers and places to dress.”

“Awesome! We have been here for one year and this has been an excellent experience for my son. The instructors are amazing. This is the perfect place to help your child build their confidence, and self esteem. Over the past year my son's personal discipline has improved making him more respectful and responsible. Finding a place where my son can learn in a supportive environment is important. So happy my sister and neighbor recommended West Wind for my son. I recommend them for people of all ages especially if you have a child suffering with social issues.”

“This gym is a gift in my life! In the 18 months I’ve joined, I’ve had huge increases in my strength, transformed my body, and as a result, had a huge boost in my confidence. I’m living my best life right now, in large part to this gym. The Fitness Tech (or TFT as it’s known by the members) is run by two expert and down-to-earth trainers, Gary and Eric. Everyday they present a different workout that’s either weight lifting centered or HIIT/cardio/stretching centered. They also have built in warmup/movement prep to start the workout and stretching/foam-rolling to end. It’s sort of like a boot camp workout, but you come and do the workout on your own time: no coming in at a specific class time or worrying that the session is full. You come in either morning or afternoon/evening and one or both trainers is always there to help you as needed. In the beginning, I needed lots of help, and Gary and Eric were always on me about my form and developing good technique. Now, after a year and a half, I need much less help but they are still on me about my form and technique. I once asked Gary if TFT was different then cross-fit, and he laughed and said, “We don’t want you to get hurt.” Jokes aside, I haven’t gotten hurt, I credit largely to the thoughtful workouts that include warmup and stretching, AND two incredibly mindful trainers that make sure we have technique and form down before we move up in weight. If that wasn’t enough, the people who work out at TFT are down to earth and supper chill. I’ve made a bunch of friends here, which was by no means my goal when I joined, but this has given me more incentive to keep coming back. It really feels like a supportive family here. If you’re like I was a couple of years ago, and your personal fitness was really going no where (I was subsidizing other members of 24 hour Fitness for several years), then consider checking out TFT. I never imagined I’d be doing the things I’m doing there, looking and feeling as great as I do. I used to think all this wasn’t possible for me. TFT changed all that. I know it can do the same for others too.”

“Rad gym for Olympic weightlifting or powerlifting. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. It’s on the small-side, but every foot is well thought-out. Drop-in is 30 bucks, and their monthly fees are really well-priced. This is my new Oakland gym, for sure.”

“Such a fantastic addition to the community. Michael and his wife are the best additions to the Marin Gateway shopping center since I’ve lived in the area, and are always there to help. Fantastic, modern equipment with updated technology and the gym is always clean. It’s also the nicest vibe of any gym I’ve been to in the Bay Area. Worth the drive for anyone outside the Mill Valley-Sausalito area, and anyone within the vicinity looking to improve their overall health should consider themselves lucky this gym exists!”

“This place is a real gem! I'm so happy to have found a studio that teaches classical Pilates, as opposed to the 'contemporary' styles found at a lot of other studios/gyms. The teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable, you can tell they're passionate about what they do. I love their personal approach, they truly teach the body that's in front of them. I've been going to East Bay Pilates for nearly 2 years now. Week after week I'm challenged by their workouts, you never get bored! The studio is tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood in Emeryville. (added bonus: free street parking and it's close to both Target and Ikea)”

“Minus one star because the teachers are often late which is really unprofessional. Often have to wait at the cafe next door.”

“The coaches at OGA have been nothing short of amazing to our family. We couldn’t be happier with our experience over the last 3 years. Our daughter and son aren’t exactly headed to the Olympics, but they’ve learned so much more than I could’ve imagined and gained so much in the way of self-confidence. I highly recommend this gym and their wonderful staff.”

“This is a great place that I have been coming to for 8 years. It is a great place to take your little ones from the age of 3-6. It is also a great place for kids that are older as well. You can learn a lot of things such as discipline, respect, self- control, self- defence, and tecnince. In addition the prices are great. I also know that the kickboxing classes are amazing and great for workout. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to do things ranging from karate or kickboxing.”

“EXACTLY what I was looking for but didn’t think I’d find!!!! After being on complete bedrest for 9 months and hospitalized for 2, I neeeeeded something... to feel good about myself, to live healthier, and get stronger. After researching other gyms from orange theory to Pilates, I tried this class. I was done! It’s the perfect mix of cardio and strength training and I look forward to the next class... like really, I can’t wait to come back!!!! I’m the girl that has NEVER worked out before... just blessed with a fast metabolism so I never bothered... I’d meet a friend to trial a gym and then convince my friend to leave after 5 minutes to go eat!!! But after coming to Red Zone with Master D, I have so much fun in each class!!! The classes aren’t too big and everyone here is awesome!!! After only 5 classes, I’ve already seen a difference in my body, my ability, and how I feel!!!! I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to get a GREAT workout and feel happier about their body!”
