“This Park is so peaceful! My Aunt just moved here and I'm renovating her house. I absolutely love this place! The wildlife walks right through the front yard to the back yard and drinks out of the creek. The neighbors are very nice and friendly. There's plenty of trees so everything is nice and green this time of year. Plenty of stores, shops, and restoration close by to choose from.”

“We were passing through town for a trip to northern CA and we stayed here one night. We booked online after hours and rolled in about a half hour later in the dark. We were greeted at the gate by 2 helpful kids (the employees children) and then by Ron & Monica - the security and office team. They were wonderful! They guided us to a spot right near the laundry room since we said we needed to do laundry. They helped us get our hook ups set up, then came back to check on us a bit later, and even came back again to give us a brick to hold down our sewer line (ours was broken unbeknownst to us). The laundry room was great - super clean. We loved the dog park, which was also clean and well taken care of. What we saw of the RV park was clean and well manicured. Many long term residents, but the few we crossed paths with were very friendly. Wanted to come back on our trip home, but our route changed. A great stop and we appreciate the friendliness of Ron & Monica (and your kiddos) ☺️”

The manager was incredibly friendly and provided helpful recommendations for restaurants and hiking. I felt comfortable leaving my car there while out on a hike. I rarely give top ratings for a hotel, but this one truly exceeded my expectations. I plan to return in the future.”

Cedar Creek Falls Retreat

Address: 3320 Oak Grove Dr, Julian, CA 92036, USA

Lodging

“We booked this cabin through VRBO, and my extended family stayed here for 2 nights. The cabin slept 14, not 15, as the listing suggested. Room 1 had one queen bed and one full bed (4 people); room 2 had one queen bed and one king-or-two-twins trundle (4 people); room 3 had one king bed (2 people); room 4 had one king-or-two-twins trundle (2 people); and the living room had a sleeper sofa (2 people). 2 bathrooms for 15 people was a tight squeeze, but we made it work. The decor was classic woodsy cabin. The kitchen worked well, and was very well stocked, although we wished there was a table we could all sit around (the dining table only sat 8 comfortably). But the living space was very comfortable, wifi worked well, and we had a great time in this cabin.”

Dawn’s breakfast every morning was excellent and we enjoyed chatting with them after breakfast in the comfort of their cozy dining room. The common spaces were well kept and inviting, perfect for board games and a glass of wine. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable and tidy. I will be recommending this place to anyone who comes to Julian! Thank you Dawn and Ed for an amazing stay!”

Oak Park Motel

“Room was nice but extra calls from owner not so much. First for parking, apparently the marked spot where I was at was in the LOS of the cameras, i was asked to move which I did. Second the wake up call 30 mins before checkout was new to me. I suppose bc they charge should you stay over was the reason.”

Quail Campground

Address: Quail, Moreno Valley, CA 92555, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“Pic is from the beach at parking lot 9. On the reservation map, Quail looked like the tent locations were more spaced out. Couldn't tell if anything was going on at either amphitheater, but the museum is only open Friday? Bring your own beach chair and shade in case you don't get a picnic table at the beach. The camp has flush toilets, a shower, a dumpster nearby (don't leave food or trash out at night), running water nearby, a drinking fountain at the bathroom, and friendly employees. Google Maps says this is in Moreno Valley which is technically true, but it's actually in Lake Perris SRA. LoL, someone said that the firewood was cheaper at the Stater Brothers but unless you're already going there it's a 20 minute drive so if you're only getting one or 2 bundles, it's worth getting it at the campground gate (time and gas) but if you need other supplies, the shopping area around the Stater Bros is huge, including a Walmart Supercenter and most fastfood restaurants.”

Island Park Campground

Address: 32303 E Trimmer Springs Rd, Sanger, CA 93657, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Great park. Gorgeous view from our site. There are off road trails and a pretty beach just down the hill, and the bathroom facilities are simple but clean (they had one shower in the one i went into). We went in December and the park was nearly empty. There are fire rings as well, and the site we were in was huge! Some of the sites are pretty unlevel, but ours was fine. The campground is also dog friendly as long as they are leashed. Just a note, There are some sharp turns to get to the park that might be difficult to navigate if you have a bigger rig/rv, but we made it fine with our 35ft camper. Well definitely be going back.”

royal oak inn

Address: 7110 Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90044, USA

Lodging

“The place is decent for the price. This is not the Hilton because this neighborhood is not the Hamptons. Those who come here and complain that this place is old and rickety, complain about pillows not being new, ceiling needing repairs, outdated furniture, must first explain what brings their first-class sensibilities to a place like Vermont and Florence to begin with.”

Mountain Shadows RV Resort

Address: 1295 S Cawston Ave, Hemet, CA 92545, USA

Rv park Lodging

“Great place. It's for the seasonal or permanent resident not the traveler going through. Clean, wide streets, nice amenities, own your own land, good staff and board of directors. Individual RVs and park models in great shape. The complex is well maintained.”

Friendly Village Mobile Home Park

Address: 5450 Paramount Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90805, USA

Rv park Lodging

“I visited a friend. Of course the mobile homes are individually owned, and hers is nice and also big, but I can't speak for everyone. They do seem to keep it up well. The streets are very buckled and have huge puddles when it rains, but I think that is because it is built on a landfill. They say it is sinking a bit. All in all, the place is very quiet for such a large part. They have security at night. It's a shame that it was built on a landfill, because I think without that, it would be a really nice place to live.”
