“We had the most AMAZING time here! The cabin is so cute and spacious. We came during the winter months and the heater worked perfectly to keep every room cozy. Full tub and shower. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay in the cute mountain town of Kernville. Mackenzie was an awesome host and made sure we had the absolute perfect stay. We will most definitely be back and staying here again!”

“My husband and I stayed in Cabin 20 this past weekend and had a fabulous time. The temperature in Big Bear was exceptionally hot, but before we checked in Loraine had gone up to the cabin to ensure all the blinds were closed up and had the window AC unit on ready for our arrival. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Village, and our cabin (being higher up on the hill) even had a peekaboo view of the lake. Definitely recommend choosing Cabin 20 since it is up higher than the rest and thus provides a little more privacy. The in-cabin jacuzzi is a huge bonus! The cabin also has a fireplace with complimentary wood that they provide—it was a little too warm this weekend for us to use, but would be a great amenity for the wintertime! We’re looking forward to coming back.”

“Overall a good experience at the Riverview Lodge. The location is perfect with river access and right in the heart of town. Also, the owner was very helpful in assisting in my needs with my k9 travel partner. The rooms are basic and clean, the AC kept it comfortable in the 100* heat.”

“Girl Trip 2023. This hotel more than met our expectations. The employees are amazing. Dylan at the front desk was as sweet and helpful as could be. We went down for more towels and she brought them to our room. The lobby was just beautiful - clean, well lit and nicely decorated. They've done major renovations and it's so nice. Our room was super clean, beds were very comfortable, a/c works like a champ and not so noisy to keep you awake. The hospitality in Sutter Creek is amazing - bars, restaurants, shops - everywhere! Close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants. We will most definitely be back.”

“This is such an awesome situation all around. Beautiful property in an amazing corner of our incredible country. Wayne and Michael are ideal hosts from start to finish. They are also quite savvy and have experiences and opinions that are worth listing to (and VERY few people do). We could be so lucky to keep coming back periodically as long as we are blessed to have them be the stewards of this amazing home and acreage.”

“Everything was nice overall, except Room 101 had two problems: the room had an old stench of cigarette smells and caused headaches for my fiance. Also, our shades didn't block out window light coming in from the outside, bright business sign.”

“Peaceful spot. Besides the crackheads that wander in and few that live here. Beware of your neighbors. They will break in if you don't have cameras”
Address: 5900 Bowen Ranch Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, USA
“3 zip lines to ride on the property, but could only ride 2 because of the wind direction. It gives you something to do if you don’t feel like hiking to the hot springs or can’t make the hike like some of us. Zip lining was fun during the Summer with water balloons and super soakers to cool off the riders at the end of the line! And you can even zip line naked if you want! Thanks Matt!”

“Stayed at site 14 which lacked a ramada but had the best view of the butte. The whole campground was clean, as were the two bathrooms nearby. There's a bit of noise from the nearby town and street but overall a great experience.”

“We loved the few days we spent here camping,we're a family of 5 and had plenty of space to ourselves and away from other campers at site 14. Our site had a bear box, fire ring and picnic table. The campground had water stations and trash bins along with vault toilets which were very clean. The camp host was very nice and checked on us a few times to see if we needed fire wood. Great experience and campground with lots of shade with alot of trees for your hammock and space for a large tent. We will Definitely be going back.”

“The rooms are clean, decent, and for the price can't complain. The service was rather good, despite them not having modern payment methods like tap pay, apple pay, etc. Still a great place. However, the surrounding area may be a culture shock for some, but if you get over it you may be able to find some quality, cheap, and flavorful foods that will make your taste buds sing the maricha! Ever around stay at the hotel or even near by just grab a meal!”
