“good hiking trail ~1.2 miles ~went down here on a whim, big mistake ~lot of poison oak, do NOT touch any of the trees ~some spots smell like horse manure ~i do not recommend biking down here, because there are lots of rocks and the trail is very tight & twisty ~good photo op on the bridge crossing the peñasquitos creek you can bring your family, as long as they know what they're in for dont force your kids to come, for they will whine and whine”

“This is my weekly run/hike. It's safe and well-maintained with nice alternate routes to explore along the main trail. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of people not cleaning up their horse and dog poop. It becomes a big issue during nice weather when more people frequent the trails. Also, watch out for cyclists blasting through the trail at high speeds if you venture past the waterfall.”

“Great park and a nice playground for the kids. Very family friendly.”

“Nice walking trail, just enough 1 person to walk on the path.Rustic, natural.Overlook the beach, I prefer having walking buddy if I go there again, just for safety. Nobody was there during the week.”

“It's a parking lot. Has spaces to park cars. Generally costs more than I prefer to pay, but if you want to visit beach during peak times it's a good option. Free street parking nearby is generally available off peak.”

“Torrey Pines will forever be my family beach. It's an especially beautiful place with alot to offer. Not only hiking, but general beach merriment. Large bathroom/changing area, showers for your feet and beach toys outside for after. It is a great place for making trips even more memorable. Nearby: our beloved Roberto's for some bomb authentic Mexican food :) and a short drive away: ocean side with its many shops and restaurants. ????☀️????????????”

“This is a good place for your dog to exercise since it's big for him to run by himself or to throw a ball far enough. It's popular so there is always more doggies in the park so your pup can also socialize and play around. I really like that the park is split in two big spaces, one for small doggies and the other one for the big ones! There is water to drink and bags to clean up after your dog.”

“This trailhead is the beginning of a number of trails bisecting, looping and joining at the peak. Great views and and steepness of a few trails make for a great hike. Join in and bring your camera”

“This is a fun family friendly park. It also has two very nice play places for the kids to be on outdoors. They're set inside of sand. This also has a nice large open green dress area with a walking path that goes around it that's approximately 1/3 a mile around. This is a nice place to go visit and let the kids run around. There is also very good views of the surrounding area all the way out to the Pacific ocean.”

“Good up-and-down hike with great coastal and inland views. Ocean breeze from West usually begins right when you need it during the ascent. Pace yourself and bring water during the hotter months. Snakes are present in the area, although I have only seen a gopher snake and a gardener snake; no rattlers yet. The trail is wide enough to see them coming.”

“Great hike with average difficulty. Be aware that i have personally spoted a Bob cat and a Cayote. A couple of small connecting trails on Miners Loop are blocked for re-vegetation but on Google maps they still show as an option.”

“Nice park! Some parts of the playground are shaded, which makes it better than other parks. However, there is very little shade for the benches around the perimeter of the playground for parents.”

“I combined the Liliac valley, glider point, miners loop and trail for all people. I'd say the glider point trail is the most strenuous of all these trails.”

“This trail is a little over 1000 feet long, and has about a 20 foot elevation change. We brought our disabled son here so that he would be able to participate in a hike and walk the trail by himself, which he was able to. It has a beautiful view and several shaded benches where you can sit and rest. I gave it four stars because it was out of the way, and it was a bit shorter than we hoped, and as far as I can tell it lacked a restroom.”

“It's a great neighborhood park for 4S Ranch residents. My kids have been going there from years and still enjoy this park very much. The water area is awesome during summer time. The main play area with the slides is outstanding. Basketball court and swings are there. The best part I like is the hill and the view from up top. Have also attended many Birthday parties there under gazebo. Once you're in you can relax that your kids can't go out due to fence.”

“This is a quaint little park that is nicely shaded and offers a very nice playground for children. The grass is well maintained and is surrounded by small hilltop apartments. There are two covered concrete tables. It only offers an outhouse.”
