“Beautiful valley in the Sonoma County countryside. We took the the Valley of the Moon trail straight to the other side of the park, conveniently paved with trash cans and free doggy bags. On the way back we took the more rugged Milkmaid path with elevations rising over 400 ft. Parking was 7 dollars for the day which goes towards maintenance of the park. Overall a great spot for a small day trip and fun in the sun ????.”

“Cool spot, saw Red-shouldered Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Northern Harrier, American Kestrel, White-tailed Kite, heard Nuttals WP, White-breasted Nuthatch, Ruby-crowned Kinglet..... saw lots of Western Bluebirds, Oregon Juncos, Acorn WP's.... saw Gopher Snake and lots of Western Fence Lizards.. near place, was on a Hidden Valley Elementary school field trip.... docent lead, let him lead, only pointed out a few of the things above as I was not there to teach, rather I was there to chaperone kids...”

“This is a very cool place . It was once open with out a fence around it and free to enter dirtbikes dunebuggys bicycle you name would come here to ride and drive for a day of jumping and climbing and crashing of the sand dune . They prohibit that type of activity now and provide guided tours of the forgotten dune buggy playground. It's still a cool place to visit.”

“Fun park with a large play structure with all kinds of fun stuff. Fun place for kids with plenty of space. Tables and shade for the parents while the kids play. The park connects to great restaurants and just nice walking around. I did not see any restrooms or water fountains but I might have missed them. There were portapotties but I believe they were for the farmers market and an event going on.”

“My family and I love this park! Everyone is nice and friendly. Great park for everything except restrooms but that doesn't stop us from going just make sure you go potty before you leave the house. Mature trees provide shade and walking path great for running and all sorts of active life. Usual crowd of people makes the drive worth it. I definitely recommend this park to all walks of life.”

“Came here to learn to surf. Make sure you have a wetsuit and soft board and shuffle your feet. I stepped on at least 3 ????. The waves were about 4 ft and I got wiped out a few times but soo much fun. Can't wait til next lesson.”

“Basketball courts and exercise equipment and play structures, oh my! They have a whole section with a guided exercise routine and permanent equipment. It's so cool! There's at least 2 different brand new play structures (and they're fun for grown-ups, too) with ropes and climbing walls, there are little wiggle-dolphin things for little kids, monkey bars, lots of proper active stuff. The beach is right there with a little walkway that goes out on the sand a little ways. I hate walking on sand ????. No shade, though. That's a problem for me, and can get a little rough even for sun-worshippers on very hot days. There are public restrooms (they close at sunset) and cold-water "showers" (actually just little spigots) to wash the sand and salt water off. All told a very good park!”

“A hidden little gem, with great views of south Chula Vista and Mexico. No restrooms and very little parking. I think it's meant to be a small neighborhood park. Lots of pretty plants grow here, and there's little bridge. People who use this park do need to be better about picking up their trash, filled up one bag grocery bag of trash on my walk. Come here to just gaze out and look at plants and birds.”
