“A hidden gem inside Robertson High School, an oasis to relax in with absolutely nobody else around in the weekends. A tad small though; good only for one or two people. You can barbecue and also play horseshoes in there.”

“Beautiful hike, 4 miles total up and down , just enough people to feel safe but not so many it takes away the magic. If you follow the ridge line trail at the top (left) you can make the hike as long as you want! Also it's got more shade then other ridge hikes. It takes me about 40 minutes one way.”

“This is a great hiking / mountain biking place because of several reasons: - not too steep up, not flat either - so, doable for most people - most of the trail is not fully exposed to sun - so, we can hike during sunny times as well - great views of the tri-valley and mountain ranges - has a restroom with regular water closet - has picnic tables - has beautiful meadows on the top of the hill - a great place to sit and relax, especially during early spring when the grass is green - bike-friendly Other points: - the access is through a gated community - visitors need to show their ID to gain access - the parking lot is not very big and it may fill up during peak hours”

“Absolutely amazing! This was just a quick trip for me, in town for work and wanted to do something I've never done before. I'm from Illinois where the closest to mountains we have seem to be speed bumps. So climb (drive) a mountain it is! Honestly, I was white knuckled the majority of the way up. But the roads are paved and maintained wonderfully. You need to be careful of the bikers (with calves of steel), and the random gang of HUGE turkeys and what I think were quail. Appreciate there are Bobcats in the area as well. Your drive up will be worth it when you get to the very top, and climb 2 small flights of stairs to the observation area. Unobstructed 360 degree views. It was breathtaking! Side note- the ride down is a lot quicker and more fun! Cost: $10. Worth it!”

“Campground is ideal for ~20 people. Has water facility + the cars can be parked near tent site. Too many racoons visit the site at night so keep the site clean and dispose eatables properly. Loved the panoramic views and the beautiful sunset!”
