“Awesome. Natural beauty. Historic and cultural lessons to be learned. Many outdoor activities for all. We miss Frank Quan, who, as a member of the Chinese working fishing village that once was here, Frank went off to serve this country in WW2. Frank came "home" to this spot and never left. Being the only person to have been given status as "part of" a designated Historic Site, Frank happily remained here for the duration of his lifetime. (RIP, dear Frank.) Enjoy all that China Camp has to offer you! A great spot!”

“It's a great hidden hiking spot. Very steep up so best for hiking shoes. The trail is slippery in the rain. Beautiful redwoods. Sunday mid-afternoon seems to be a very popular time for people there.”

“Beautiful park with both easy to challenging trails. There are a lot of off leash but friendly dogs here, so please remember that if you bring one of your own. It’s basically dog heaven, and usually everyone is very responsible about their dogs.”

“Wonderful walk thru the redwoods (although not the iconic ones but impressive just the same). Not allot of views of the vistas but territorial glimpses of the forest and trails. Lots of dog walkers here but once you are half a mile past a main trail head you could find yourself peacefully alone.”

“Scary 1 lane road, go slow to avoid head on collision.”
Address: 2537 Reliez Valley Rd, Martinez, CA 94553, USA
“Over 6,000 acres of meandering trails through woodland, hillside and meadows. Parking is ample, rest rooms and picnic tables are available. Biking, horseback riding, hiking, walking the dog, picnicking, playing in the creek, enjoying the views and appreciating nature easily accessible from the freeway. Go at your own pace-fast and strenuous or laid back and relaxed- stay for an hour or spend the day.”

“I love this park. Lots of open space, a walking trail, playground for the kids and a really cool little "Creek" with rocks to climb running through it. Great for energetic kids.”

“Great park, most ground survived through the hill fire though the trail was heavily damaged. Park is closed until further notice. Very sad what it had happened to this park. Our puppy loves to go there!!”
