“Beautiful place. The planetarium show was amazing and the exhibits are really cool (Planetarium was 5$ with a student ID). I wasn't able to take any pictures of it but it was amazing. There are some really cool exhibits on the bottom floor like the seismograph and others. It's kinda like Cape Canaveral if you have ever been there.”

“Nice view and only 4 or 5 miles from Studio City, so if you live in Studio City, check out the view of Hollywood, south of Hollywood, the Griffith Observatory, and probably a thick layer of smog. It's a super quick hike from the street parking if you don't need a nice long hike. There are some nice sittin' stones and a log on the flat overlook. There are also some nice slanted vein patterns along the exposed edge of the Santa Monica mountains. It is very soft and brittle. It looks like several layers of ash from brush fire after brush fire over so many years.”
Address: 8421 San Luis Potosi, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, USA
“It's a great place for kids and adults. It has a little of everything you would expect. Sitting, playground, basketball courts and large fields for baseball or soccer. Along with a picnic area.”

“Stumbled upon Jamie Beth Slaven Park by accident & I loved it! Came here with my girlfriend on May 14th & as of then the swing was no longer there. The view of the city is marvelous but if you're looking for an intense hike, this is definitely not the spot for you. As for photos? I'd say go for it! It's beautiful, quiet, & a nice alternate to the often North Hollywood city.”
