“I discovered Rocio's by accident. I've morning while manning a fireworks booth, a couple of lovely ladies pull up in a business vehicle. There are Mexican food vendors. They provided many meals for our group of men: from giant burritos to freshly prepared tamales, this omnivorous bunch was fueled and satisfied for the hot summer days. They make albóndigas (meatball soup), menudo and many other awesome Mexican delicacies. Today, I wanted to test myself and a few others to some of Rocio's tamales. You can order so many different types filled with different kinds of meats, cheeses and vegetables. I called and discovered tamales are made to order. This ensures your order of six or a dozen will be hot, soft and fresh! It only takes a couple of hours for your order to be ready so just plan accordingly. I'm sure you'll really enjoy the food. $8 for a burrito might seem like much but wait till you see the size and come to the realization that it will easily feed two to three people. I don't share! I just recommend calling and ordering ahead of time that way all you have to do is pull up to the drive thru window, pay and pick up.”

There are good sushi restaurants, but this place is a WOW!! She recommended that we get the Truffle fries to start off and good Lord they were so good! After that I ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich and my wife got the Spicy Burger that comes with a side salad. We selected the Caesar Salad which is so good. The Chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked and comes with a sweet and spicy sauce. Loved it. My wife's burger had a very nice char which accented it's flavor. Yummy! Our daughter (2 yo) had the child's fruit salad. All very great items. Do your self a favor and sit outside and enjoy the view of the pond. If it's cold they will turn on the heater for you. “Portion is just right! Depending what you order, they’ll have mini side dishes. We wanted to experience the cooking part! The beef cutlet had a great texture. Pretty good quality meat. The sauce was also good! The sauces complimented the meal well. The pork cutlet in the sauce with cheese was good on the first few bites. The sauce was pretty heavy for me. It’s the same flavor for every bite so I didn’t end up finishing that dish. Party of 6 or more will have a gratuity added automatically. We went around 3:20.. and it was empty but when 4 hit, people started coming in so if you’re going for dinner. I’d go in early.”

“Although I love the bars in Studio City, I think I may have just discovered my new favorite spot in Glendale. I met a few friends for drinks last Friday @ The Famous, which is located in the heart of Glendale. I ordered my regular old fashioned with Makers Mark. The bartender perfected my drink both times. This is the perfect bar to go to after dinner, before calling it a night. Their music was upbeat and I loved the ambience. The servers were attentive to all guests and extremely prompt in bringing out the drinks. Their prices are fair and service is superb. Now that I've been to this bar, I know I'll end up going back again.”

“Great place. Came here with family 6+ people and seating is available outside. Came on a rainy day and the patio outside has changed and it felt great. Food was good and prices were good as well. “This place.. Delicious is a word used too often. Though it fits here I'm looking for a better word. Few places care about food these days. Mei Mei loves what they do and it shows! The walnut shrimps were huge and wow tasty. The wonton soup, so much veggies! Large Bock choy tasty wonton dumplings very good 😋 the BBQ pork appetizer is a whole meal it's self. We had the Potstickers which were also larger than usual and really good! Oh yeah the pork fried rice is amazing! Love this place will be back for sure!🙂”

“Bright coffee shop with alternative milk options and breakfast/brunch. Came here on a Sunday around 11am and there were indoor and outdoor seats available. Credit card only (no cash accepted). You pay at the counter and then you’ll receive a number. You can do work here too, but most of the people seemed to be there to socialize. They had some ready made pastries but I would suggest asking them to heat up the display ones (it’ll take your croissant to the next level). It’s an additional $1.25 if you want oat milk in your latte. I got a matcha latte and it did its job. Note that the smoothie bowl does come with a nut butter blended in it. It’s actually pretty filling, so you could ask for a cold drink cup to take the rest of it to-go. Overall the vibes are chill and it’s a cute cafe/coffee shop.”

“We have been fans of this place for years. The bacon wrap is our go-to, and is consistently delicious to the last bite (how do they make it so everything is mixed so perfectly?!). My son ordered the French toast, and I had to get a shot of it, it was so amazing looking. And just as amazing tasting. We are so lucky to have this small business within walking distance of our house! Also, their "basic" toast is homemade bread and is delicious. Sitting outside watching passersby, sometimes people we know, is so relaxing. Great service as well! 5/5”

“Although it's now called Atlas Cafe, Eko cafe in downtown Hayward is essentially the same as it was when we lived here 8 years ago! They make great traditional crepes, traditional in that the layers are thin and plentiful, not in flavors. Please read my original Yelp review from May 2022 below :) do yourself a favor and just try GRANO! Just found this little piece of heaven next to Target tonight. I took my wife here for a date and we were both mind blown. Best dinner in ages. We both never felt so comfortable and cared for. Multiple staff connected in meaningful ways. Service tops even the most expensive steakhouses. The presentation of the food was over the top. The overall cleanliness, ambiance and taste is impeccable. The sauce for the complimentary fresh baked bread is sweet and rich. The Margherita pizza. Amazing crust! The real wow was the pasta Genovese with 2 day braised beef! Tender and packed with flavor. Pasta cooked to literal perfection. Fresh melty cheese. I really need more! Coming back for dessert and bringing friends! Keep up whatever wizardry is going on in this place!
