(July 12, 2019, 6:02 pm)This is a nice short scenic stroll. I-70 butts up to it so it isn't peaceful but it shore is pretty. We saw rafters entering a few yards from the wheel. It looked they were going to have a great time.

It is absolutely beautiful, and I really need to pay more attention on I-70 when I'm driving rather than staring at it. But I digress. My only complaint about this magnificent sight is the severe lack of parking! I really had zero other complaints. If you go bring your camera! Any time of year is fantastic here!!!!
(May 7, 2019, 3:01 am)Peaceful slice of heaven! Definitely recommend checking this place out. The area is pretty clean with clear water that you can walk down too. They also have benches to sit and relax.
(April 10, 2019, 6:06 pm)Beautiful waterfall and water wheel. The path from the Idaho Springs public parking is well made and a joy to walk or bike on. Definitely worth a visit if you have stopped in Idaho Springs.
We didn’t realize you could walk over there until we walked to the Far East side of the parking lot, next to the train, near the I-70 bridge over Clear Creek.
