“Wow! The cabins are amazing! The inside decor feels like a high end ski lodge and the beds are very comfy. There are lots of windows to enjoy the Mountain View. We really enjoyed our fireplace and our private hammock. Check-in was so easy too. Highly recommend (I didn’t see The Market in Google, but found it on our second day. It’s a tiny store that has good cups of coffee, fresh cookies and other convenience items if you don’t want to drive into Canon City. Try the espresso cookie!)”

“Best sporting club out there! We will be members for a long time. The property is beautiful with options for upland and waterfowl hunts. We have been utilizing the property and birds to train my pup. It great to have several fields to provide different levels of challenge. Staff is super kind and very helpful. “Lived here for over 3 years as a war era veteran in transition from homelessness - after a hit and run driver almost killed me over 5 years ago.... .... after I stopped in to tell them my story and inquire about prices, Gina made sure that I was on the reservation list for a cabin. (I had just gotten a job at Goodwill, but was living in my pickup truck). After a few months of living in my truck (in winter) & working at Goodwill, Gina called me with the news of an available cabin! I was sure I had been forgotten (like all the other times), BUT NO!! - Pueblo West Campground is run by people who really care about people.... Pueblo West Campground is currently under updates and improvements all across the property. I see major investments in all of the grounds & facilities - and it shows. Pueblo West Campground is a nice RV park that also has horse boarding, a bicycle & motocross track, a quiet & safe environment, with a strong "neighborhood watch" security, - and shopping just a walk away.... If you're passing through, check them out. No disappointments. Right on the foothills of the Rocky mountains. A 1/2 hour from the campground & full of the local history of the West, Canyon City's Great River Gorge is a place to explore, take stunning pictures, aircraft scenic tours, zip lining or skydiving at the Gorge! Colorado Springs & Pike's Peak are 1/2 hour away, but if you want to stay local, there is bicycle/hiking trail access from the RV park. Pueblo Lake State Park allows awesome days or weekends on the water, on the trails and bike paths, with camping available as well. While there, make sure to go to the Liberty Point Memorial for veterans that is located above the lake with stunning scenic vistas in every direction. A beautiful area summer or winter, good, trustworthy people, a VERY dedicated staff, and your choice of a slow, relaxing stay - or exciting extreme fun in the area's many venues...well worth your stay!”

“After reading many of the reviews, I have a few things to say. Thank god this place is here. Did any of you complainers take a look around at the beautiful views here? Have any of you ever started a business on your own? If this place isn’t good enough for you then move on down the road. Any new people that are looking for something will be happy to know they now have full hookups, they have put in a storm shelter, they have started landscaping. I guess my point is, it takes time. And we are living through the highest cost of living yet. I like privacy. I have it. I have not seen anyone fighting or causing trouble. We leave in 2 days and I hope to be able to come back sometime. If you want a resort go to Florida where you can be stacked in like sardines in a can.”

You get a private bedroom, bathroom and sitting room but you share the house with 2 strangers in the next room which I did not realize. The description never really tells you that. We got lucky that our 2 strangers were very nice.”

“Back in 2018 me and my wife stayed here for almost 5 weeks while I was in town working at the power plant in fountain Grove and it was one of the best experiences at a hotel over my career. The people that own the place were just so nice. They would have great conversation with my wife while I was at work every morning while she sat outside and drank her coffee. Loved this place. “I have been a part of this park for over 10 years, my parents bought their first home here and absolutely loved the community. The office staff is easy to work with and the park is pretty quiet. I just wish there were fences on the property so it felt more like my home with a yard, this open space allows me to see the trashy yards behind me every time im outside.”

“PERMANENTLY CLOSED! These are the cutest, coziest Cottages in Manitou Springs. You'll have a little living room with Dish Network. In the Next Room is a cozy bed with crisp linens and puffy pillows. You also get a little area with a fridge, microwave and sink!!! And of course a bathroom. But the best part about my stay was being able to have my dogs with me and there's a wonderful forest that leads to Fountain Creek behind this Motel. I'll definitely stay there again, when I return home to visit! Thanks Guys!!”

“Barbara and Mark are amazing and their beautiful property was just what we needed to get away from the technology and just be surrounded by nature. The suite we stayed in is lovely, clean, and welcoming. The river running next to the suite is so relaxing. We shared a couple of glasses of wine(their treat) once we arrived and had a wonderful conversation. In the morning Barbara made us a delicious breakfast and Mark delivered our breakfast to our door in a beautiful basket. I called it the breakfast goodie basket. Later on that morning we also shared some Mimosas (our treat) while we walked around their property. Barbara has beautiful note cards and small mementos that she has available for purchase. I love note cards so I had to get a pack for my collection. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing and excited to return for another stay this summer, then we can see all the beautiful trees and plants flourishing. Grateful to have found this lovely space!”

“Really liked staying here. Even in June you don’t need the air conditioning that much because the campground is wooded and stays really cool. They were out maintaining the roadways everyday and it was really clean here. The only problem I had was the voltage was getting low ( around 100v) so my surge protector shut off a few times but that only happened one day when the campground was jam packed with people. Other than that it was great and fairly quiet. Lots of good food in town and plenty of lakes and forest land to explore.”
