“Well maintained trails, intentionally not well marked, but a beautiful wildlife sanctuary on the Atlantic Flyway. Birds, butterflies, crickets, wildflowers abound. No dog walkers, no bicycles, and no fishing, so a great place for solitude. We only covered a few of the trails by the river but the trail map shows many more walking opportunities. The trails we walked were easy since they were near the river.”

“Very good and beautiful place for hiking and would of given this 5 stars several weeks ago, but a massive storm blew down a lot of trees completely blocking some of the paths. I would of easily gotten lost since some of the trail marked trees have fallen over as well.”

“This is one of the coolest playgrounds around. All of the old wooden equipment has been replaced with an updated design that's less splinters and more smiles. Enough little nooks and secret tunnels for kids to go wild. (Last I checked, the zipline was broken, which is kind of sad.) Additionally, there is a pavilion that can be rented for events.”

“This is a great place for a short quick hike. The hiking trails are easy to follow; they are marked pretty clearly. Watch out for slippery mud and puddles during the summer as well as fallen tree stumps that have fallen on the trail pathway. Also is a great place to bring your dog!”
