You cannot find this amazing level of elite training anywhere else in South Florida. Stephanie (owner) and Keva are in a league of their own. I'm a classical and modern dancer and I've been training at Brock Athletic Pilates 3-4x per week for several months now. I've been to several pilates studios across South Florida and throughout Latin America. So with certainty I can reassure you that beyond having all the latest and top notch equipment here, the Brock studio is always impeccable and super welcoming. More importantly, the classes are tailored to be different than what's traditionally offered out there. Guys are also welcomed here and they definitely feel the burn everytime they come. This is not the studio for the faint of heart or mind! You really have to commit because the trainers commit to you.
I have been comint to Brock Pilates for 9 months on the suggstion of my neighbor. It is the most challenging workout I hace ever done but also the most satisfying. I have never stuck to any workout for longer than a few months. But I have been going to Brock Pilates at least 3 times a week and my body thanks me for it! I can really see an improvement in my strength, balance and total body. The workout is never the same twice and you are always doing something new to build even the tiniest of support muscles. The workout is not easy but you feel so accomplished afterwards knowing that you did your best and your best is always improving!
I took pilates in NYC for 10 years before moving to Fort Lauderdale. I was in great shape but never felt like I had my butt kicked before and in such a good way. Stephanie Brock is an excellent instructor. She keeps things interesting and is extremely adaptable for someone like me who has medical issues and injuries. There's nothing better than going to a studio where you are trained by the woman with her name on the door and she greets you with a fantastic smile, positive attitude and a killer body. You leave having worked up a sweat but without feeling like it was too much.
My workout at Brock Athletic Pilates seemed to work every part of my body. The atmosphere was great, very energetic and fun. The instructor was attentive, suggesting modifications when I needed them. The Balanced Body equipment was brand new and simple to figure out. I signed up for their monthly plan to get the best deal since I will be going all the time now!
My workout at Brock Athletic Pilates was different than any other Pilates class I have tried. I took the full body equipment class which meant using many different pieces of equipment including the reformer, the chair and several other gadgets. I've been hooked on Pilates for years, but I felt extremely challenged by the "athletic" aspect of the workout. My heart rate was elevated throughout the class and I worked up a sweat... no need to add cardio afterwards. The studio is beautiful, clean and fully stocked with top of the line equipment. I would rate Brock Athletic Pilates as the top studio in Fort Lauderdale.
